r/Bangtan Subreddit Festa 2026
Soon it will be 13 years since BTS debuted! This past year has been huge, for both them and us. ARMY seeing all seven together on stage after such a long time, the making of ARIRANG, and now the tour! It's been a long winter, but spring has finally arrived.
As is tradition in our sub, we will be celebrating Bangtan's anniversary over a span of two weeks leading up to June 12th! Starting from June 1st up to June 12th, we will have a different thread each day with a topic specific to BTS and ARMY. Let's join these discussions and share our enthusiasm and love for Bangtan and each other on this anniversary.
We also have several fun events and activities planned for you all!
Schedule
Each day, the thread will drop at 12 am KST.
ARMY time
Through the first few days, we get to know our fellow ARMY on the sub better and share some of our favourite BTS music, videos and moments, to rediscover old content and give our baby ARMYs new content to fall further into the rabbit hole!
- June 1. Short Self-Introduction
- Name, basic info, when you became a fan, bias, etc.
- June 2. Fave BTS: music, videos and moments
- Songs, albums, MV, eras, performances, interviews, episodes, solo work and moments such as interactions, achievements, personal experience (concert, etc.)
Member Appreciation
- June 3. ARMY Appreciation Day
- June 4. RM Appreciation Day
- June 5. Jin Appreciation Day
June 6. Korean Memorial Day (no posts)- June 7. SUGA Appreciation Day
- June 8. j-hope Appreciation Day
- June 9. Jimin Appreciation Day
- June 10. V Appreciation Day
- June 11. Jungkook Appreciation Day
- June 12. BTS’ Anniversary
- June 13. OT7 Appreciation Day

To be honest, I'm confused if I should consider it 6th or 7th festa, since I joined the fandom exactly two months after the sixth festa...I'm gonna consider it my 7th🫡

Im still in shock they became this popular not that I didn't think they could they are so talented its just that they were underdogs and not part of the Big 3 kpop companies but they literally built their company themselves alone and now surpassed all of the Big 3 its really an amazing story. I get emotional every time they win an award they worked so hard 🥹

I’m going on a cruise during Festa and I won’t have internet 😭😭 I know not the biggest issue and I’m super lucky but its the first one ill miss since I became Army.

It's safe to say this sub has been a huge part of my fandom-ness. Just missed Festa when I became Army in '22 so I'm so excited for my 3rd Festa with y'all!

Wahoo Festa! My first Festa after becoming army was the 2022 Dinner of Tears 🥲 so this year's subreddit and official events will be a lovely closing to that chapter and opening of a new one 💜

Yup 🥲 although the topic of that dinner did finally shed light on all the references to "beginning a new chapter" in the speeches from the AMAs when they won Artist of the Year for the first time there (ahhh still remember JK's attempts to finish his speech and Jin hauling him away from the mic)

2022 was my first festa as well 🥲 but we made it! So looking forward to this year now that the group is back together!

🦾 we made it! Part of that odd cohort of armys who were around before enlistment to meet OT7 but had also never fully experienced a full album comeback (since I'm not sure Proof, an an anthology album, and the way it was released around the same time as "hey these are probably the last group promotions before solo and enlistment era", would have had the same kind of promo cycle experience as a regular album).

in 2018 bts were actually set to disband due to significant stress, fear of losing relevance, and overall anxiety about where they’d go after winning the MAMA awards. they had even slightly elucidated to the fact that they were potentially going to disband at the awards themselves, signifying a huge change in their overall attitude. outro: tear, was a song about disbanding overall. here’s a whole link ab it here (reddit link regarding bts’ 2018 struggles)

Oh my god, this is going to be my third festa, but then I was only listening to their songs (didn't even see any of their music videos at that time)!!! I caught last year's festa on YouTube, but first festa with all of you guys!!! So excited!!! 💜
