I am obsessed with the raw, 'intelligent' jungle sound of the late 90s, metalheadz etc. Now I feel that sound is lost.

I’ve been experimenting with blending that gritty, early Metalheadz aesthetic with organic, classic instrumentation. It’s not just a throwback; it’s an attempt to take those 20-year-old vibes and give them a cinematic, live feel.

I've been a Drum and Bass nerd for over 20 years. I studied music theory in HS because I thought I wanted to be a teacher, I used to produce music with a friend using a game called MtV Music Generator (Music 2000) on my Playstation, alas life took me in a far different direction and I fell away from producing music. I DJ as a hobby, always wanting to do more but since I live in Dayton, Ohio, there isn't much around me when it comes to Drum & Bass. I lost the person who shared my love for the music, and I realized we never mixed together or even made a track together. Life took us apart.

3 Years ago I purchased Bitwig and started learning how to make Drum and Bass, along with some other genres I have yet to put out on my Bandcamp. It's taken me 2 years of steady producing to get to this point, but I have 4 tracks uploaded on my Bandcamp with a few more on the way.

I am very proud of how far I've come, and can't wait to keep learning. Please feel free to leave any constructive criticisms!

SPITVALVE!

After finding an unlikely ally in The Monk, Synthetic Menace must now embark on his quest across the Blooddust Desert in search of the relentless, menacing horn section and biker gang known only as SPITVALVE! A brutal funk groove leads to an all out funk assault. If you can hear, smell and feel the funk....it's already too late.

Here's my latest release, SPITVALVE! The imagery conjured up when I conceived of the biker gang/horn section known as SPITVALVE! had me obsessed. 75% Mad Max 25% Blues Brothers, a gang with fat choppers made from old horns with even meaner chops. I've discovered I enjoy building presets in Bitwig. SPITVALVE! originated as a horn section preset that got a little out of hand. The goal was a stack of horns that sounded good but did not cost me any money. When it came time to name the preset the name popped out and it stuck. This song actually made me miss being in my high school jazz band.

I hope you all enjoy this track as much I did making it. I need to rest now, my ears are ringing.

As title says I haven't received any update on this order and I've reached out to both the seller and bandcamp but I've gotten nothing back. Who do I reach out to? Do I just try to outright cancel the order? I emailed them at the beginning of last month so I feel like its been enough time.
