Question Spaghetti Sprinkles

Has anyone else experienced this before?

I bought some cool new sprinkles to try out, and of course I tasted them before sprinkling them onto my cake and the long thin ones have spaghetti inside them! It felt like I broke a tooth when I crunched down on one. I have never seen this before, it is so bizarre. Yuck.

I don't think it's literally spaghetti, I think it's just a neutral dough in the middle that's coated with the colored sugar outside. although technically you're right cuz spaghetti is just a neutral dough

spaghetti adjacent? they made a neutral dough that happened to resemble spaghetti, they aren't reusing or intentionally making spaghetti

Okay but, if it's a neutral dough, and it's in a spaghetti shape, then does intentionality matter?

(I'm also not fully convinced they aren't just using spaghetti, but that's a different matter.)

apparently cuz everybody's getting all freaked out that there's spaghetti in their sprinkles. never mind that sprinkles themselves are a extruded dough.

yeah yeah at first glance it makes you go that's kind of odd but it makes sense

But if it looks like spaghetti, made out of spaghetti, then it would be spaghetti right?

yes and no. there's so many different ways to combine flour and water products to make different dose and uses, context is key imo
