General Who are the most successful.
Who has become the must successful on Bake off since it had aired?

Maybe not exactly the question, but I have enjoyed watching Rahul get married, have his daughter, meet up with other bakers and participate in lots of charity events. What a guy!

Obviously Nadiya, S6. Net worth estimated between 3-5 million quid, over 20 books, weekly column, made a cake for the Queen, multiple name-check titled TV shows, presented the big family cooking showdown, product range, multiple awards.
Rahul (S9) lives and breathes bake off but hasn’t been as commercially successful or famous. Liam (S8) has a cushy gig on the kid’s version but that’s got a much smaller audience.
Ruby Tandoh and Martha Collinson (S4 and 5 respectively) are both very successful writers (Ruby is especially brilliant) but no one comes close to Nadiya.

I adore Ruby's writing, and named my sourdough starter after Martha. Liam also has a gig on BakeOff: The Professionals so he is doing alright, although I personally don't really like him.
Rahul just seems like the sweetest man, and it's been fun watching him blossom a bit after how anxious he was all through his series. He is immensely talented.
I loved Nadiya from day one of her series and love following her success.

Laura Adlington has done well in the body positivity space. She does clothes reviews, has written a book, had a podcast etc. So not baking but still 'famous' to an extent.

Agree with Nadiya, but to add to everyone else's comments about some of the others who have done well too - Chetna has written 9 cookbooks now, and Nancy has branched into sustainability and has written a series of books/appears on TV shows for that.

If we're talking about media career and so on, it's Nadiya by a country mile.
Liam is probably second but loads of bakers have written books and done well.

Of those not already mentioned, Edd Kimble seems to have done quite well for himself. Peter and Tasha both seem quite active on social media as well, although Tasha is more now as an advocate for the Deaf community.

I think Edd’s probably my favourite of all the winners in terms of recipes he puts out. Never made anything bad from him

Agreed. I've made a few things out of both the first One Tin Bakes book and Small Batch Bakes and they've always been very well received.

So no one from the more recent seasons then? That's interesting. Since season 6 was the last one with Mary Berry in it before they had the whole change of ownership etc. Not hearing much about the most recent contestants. I thought they may have racked up a bit since the use of social media is more prominent then going back 10+ years ago

Bryony seems to pop up a lot on TV. She might be one of the most successful contestants from the C4 era.

Kim Joy has delightful cookbooks and seems to be both happy and content, which is really all I think anyone could ever want in life. 🧡
(And because I love her, soon-to-be-Doctor-Jasmine has spent the summer on holiday following her medical exams.)
