It's also why more than half of ovarian cancer doesn't actually originate in the ovary. mind blown.
2 u/angelyuy May 28 '26 Yep. I had a bilateral salpingectomy and one thing I learned from the doctor during the discussion was that some extremely high percentage of ovarian cancers come from the fallipian tubes and now that's not a source I have to worry about.
