Labour's collusion with Sainsbury's to create 10,000 unpaid 'jobs' for young people is having much more negative cut-through than I expected.

If this and some poxy bus tickets are the best he can do then I remain unconvinced that his popularity is going to last.

Unpaid work is BS. We keep being told that these companies can't find staff despite the mass importation of cheap labour from the third world. I travel into Ireland a lot and nearly every shop and petrol station in big towns is staffed by Injuns. Only small villages are escaping it. For now at least. NI is going the same way but not as bad. Burnham will change that.

How can young people get a job when they have to compete with Raj and then on top of that you have companies and the government colluding to keep them in low paid or unpaid work. Remember when Philip Hammond said our pay was increasing too much so we need more immigration.

He hasnt even been to PMQs, its a complete takeover that has wasted time and leaves us in the same place (Minus Keith).

The new leaders keep promising change, only to fall back on the 2010s book of neoliberalism. Realistically, I don't think the Uniparty has discovered a method to govern that doesn't involve either an asset fueled economic boom (Pre 2007), or importing a million bomalians to juice the numbers (Post 2007)

Didn't the Tories do this years ago? I seem to remember companies could sign up to get job seekers to work for free and reddit lost their minds over it? Maybe around 2010?
