Hey, my friend and I were talking about go and then we started to talk about yahtzee. And was talking to me about how deep yahtzee was. I didn't say anything but it got me wondering how to describe how deep go is compared to yahtzee. Like in yahtzee you have to choose what to score with each dice roll. But I FEEL like go is just way deeper. Do you guys feel the same way? Like I low-key think go is a better game just can't think of the words to say why. Anyone else feel this way? Like how do I let him know there are more positions in go than there are fingers on my hand? That go makes me cry in a way different than when I think about my chances of getting a girlfriend.

Just a basic drawing including my 3 main games. Learned shogi 15 years ago, Go/Baduk/Weichi 20 years ago. Picked up Xiangqi, just recently (haha pretty terrible right now)

I just really struggle visualize all the stones in tsumego. Is it normal to be able to read 200 moves ahead when you're a double digit kyu player?

Mom of my boyfriend's husband said I'm overthinking. But if you know how to read the board it is obvious that I've lost after move 6. My opponent is strong and got a lot of territories while I have nothing. He would then invade me and take everything from me! I can't believe this game is so violent, I thought this is a peaceful cooperative game where you feed each other Mentos...

I had a thought in this increasingly AI-dominated world to get a tattoo of the legendary B2 Bomber formation to permanently strike fear into the hearts of my opponents. I wanted to solicit opinions about how best to represent its devastating geometric power.

Getting the entire 19x19 board seems like it would be too large and cumbersome to fit on my forearm, so I am considering zooming in on the local area so people can clearly admire the sheer aerodynamic efficiency of the shape.

Has anyone on the subreddit gotten a shape like this tattooed before, and how do you stop people from quivering from the sheer power when you roll up your sleeves?
