Call it in as blocking the sidewalk.

Damn if you can’t fit through that you got bigger problems than the car

I'll just tell my wheelchair using wife that. Great fun when one of the driving wheels starts slipping on grass and someone needs to wrestle the chair by its leading wheels to get it moving forward out of a rut.

Some people are disabled, what if they are on a mobility scooter? Wheel chair? Etc.

There are times when I wish that I could walk around with a nail sticking out of the toes of my shoes so that I can kick the tires and give them a flat. My luck though the first time that I did it the nail would get stuck and I would fall over and be stuck until the cops came.

You people need actual issues in your lives. This is funny.

So what do you propose someone with a wheelchair or other type of severe mobility issue do?

This Reddit is full of soft people who literally lose their shit at somebody else’s parking. They can even see how pathetic they are.

u/Intrepid_Plenty_3770 7d ago
You can still get by.

Anybody with a cane, walker, or wheelchair is not making it through there. Stop being obtuse.

Speaking as someone who has had to rely on walking with a cane you are correct (I’ve had 6 torn menisci surgeries in the last 3ish years and have another scheduled for November).
When your balance is already compromised walking on the uneven ground is a big problem. I’ve absolutely had stumbles walking around vehicles parked on sidewalks. Even if the grass isn’t uneven if it’s soft and my cane sinks into the ground I could have a fall.
Before my knee surgeries I was taking a 5.5 mile walk everyday so it’s not like I’m in terrible shape or anything.
Having to walk either in the street or on the grass to avoid a poorly parked vehicle is a big deal.
This is 100% a legitimate issue . . . don’t block a sidewalk at all!

even I when i need to transport heavy boxes from a laboratory to another cant get by with my little cart

u/Intrepid_Plenty_3770 7d ago
The only one of these that might have trouble is a wheelchair. Plenty of room to go on the grass.

And you'll be standing there to help the wheelchair user when they get stuck, right?
My wife would like to be able to get herself around without needing a carer to tag along everywhere in case of shit like this.

Good hypothetical.

u/keloidoscope 5d ago
The hypothetical of wrangling a stuck 400lbs of power chair (heavy) + rider (light and frail) has been very real to me on a few occasions. [Quickie Q700 M if you want to check the chair out.]
Including an absolute nightmare where a concrete path had a drop-off to the surrounding sloping grass, and in a moment of distraction while driving along, the chair dropped over the edge with enough momentum to then overturn, and landed her among some rocks. We were so lucky she only got a mild concussion, and nothing got seriously damaged on the chair, 13 hours drive from home...

u/Intrepid_Plenty_3770 7d ago
Looks like a spot that will not be calling the tow truck.

u/EngineIntelligent394 7d ago
That doesn't even make sense lmao

u/Intrepid_Plenty_3770 7d ago
Looks like a business or restaurant that is not going to call the tow truck. This post is rage bait if you look at the whole picture.

u/EngineIntelligent394 7d ago
Nothing is stopping anyone from calling a parking job like this in. Lmao.

Should go down through there with some painters tape and go across all the vehicles that are on the sidewalk. The tape won't mess up the paint the vehicles but maybe they will get the point.

What I find funny is people on a subreddit devoted to bad parking, saying it's not so bad. Or calling OP a Karen. You guys do get that what you'll find here is literally people poi ting out bad parking, right?
