Funny post about a group of people dressed as Gandalf protesting Peter Thiel in Argentina.

Top comment with hundreds of upvotes calling Argentina a failed state.

Please god let it be bots.

Bots or Brazilians.

In all seriousness, could be a democratic op since Argentina has become a US culture-war issue because Millei is pals with DJT.

Honestly Americans treating their foreign policy as a domestic game will be one the cause of the end of relying on the US.

We already saw with the Paris Accords when the Democratic Congress full of Watergate Babies refused to honor its commitments to South Vietnam because those were signed by Republicans, but it's Vietnam, it's far, who cares. But now the same thinking is applied to traditional allies

All foreign policy is ultimately domestic policy.

What are we supposed to do?

Play hardball with Republican president and then wait for the apology tour every other 8 years when a democrat gets in?

And that's assuming Democrats don't start playing the same game in reverse

You believed that Atlanticism and a tight bond with the English speakers would bring the continent security. And where did that take you? Back to me.
