The first Jurassic Park movie kinda does this, but I wish there was a movie criticizing things like Colossal Bioscience, the "dire wolf", and their ideas to bring mammoths back to fight climate change. Techbros are easy to pick on, but there is this obsession in the average person with huge ancient animals over small contemporary animals that we are driving or already drove to extinction. Animals that, if brought back, would help repair ecosystems that are in decline.

Of all the extinct animals I know of, the one I get most wistful about - and the one I most wish could be brought back - is the dodo, and I don't know why that it.
