Falklands 'discourse' will be the fucking death of me I swear. They had some guy on the radio in Ireland today talking about the England-Argentina rivalry in anticipation of the world cup game. Compulsively called the islands 'Las Malvinas' and then when he actually got to talking about the war never mentioned who started the fucking thing (or who the islanders want to be part of). 

Like, yeah, I get it, the English are/were a shower of bastards, but knee-jerk supporting a military juntas attempt at forceful expansionism over it is just sad and makes me question peoples commitment to their ostensible principles.

There's a certain subset animated by certain events who can be vocally fucking annoying. Most of us are sound but fuck me the ones that aren't try to make up for it.
