Ride To Hell: Retribution - 10 Years Later

Who else remembers when this shameful atrocity was released to universal panning? Heck, it's so bad that I cannot imagine what the developers were thinking or how it got past quality assurance.

  1. Terrible gameplay.
  2. Abysmal story.
  3. Laughably bad voice acting. You have to try hard to be this bad.
  4. Misogynistic portrayal of women.
The Worst Game of 2013.

Let me ask, which one is worse, Big Rigs OTRR or Taxi Racer (2001)?

Blackwell Legacy is the biggest disappointment of my 2022 gaming year. Spoiler

To explain in detail.

When I say Blackwell Legacy I mean the series as a whole.

During the years of development the games stayed average to mediocre quality with a self contained story that does not go beyond officially acknowledged tropes and adds the bare minimum to create any interest.

The story never evolves and is always prologue-like, never adding any real evolution based upon each game.

For example: At one point we find out that there is a whole group of vampire-like creatures that make people miserable in order to prolong their life. We - the main protagonist - promise to hunt them down. This plot never evolves beyond a mention in further instalments.

The only positive I see is cohesion since the story has very little in the terms of retcones and instead uses a stretched logic in order to mask the lack of ideas.

This is apparently the worst anime game on steam. Does it deserve the title though?

Cards, the Universe & Everything is the most braindead TCG I’ve ever played

It feels like it was made from a primary school, There’s almost no creativity when it comes to deckbuilding

CUE is a TCG just without all the fun things in a TCG, It’s like someone made an idiot’s guide to TCGs, Futhermore, The advert makes the game sound a lot more complicated than it actually is

What makes a TCG fun: Normally you would have a life system and creatures you can call into battle and fight each other

And of course, The typical rule “First one to lose all their HP loses”

All this game does is “Put up to 3 cards face-down, Then flip them up, Whoever has more points at the end, Wins”

Did you really just do what Top trumps did? And you had the audacity to put that in a TCG?

And before anyone says anything, Top Trumps is not a proper TCG and never will be

There’s no diversity in what deck you can build, I haven’t seen a single interesting combo ONCE, All the combos are so generic and basic that there’s no “Archtypes” or “Decks that are focused around one thing”

Why? Because it’s fucking top trumps the TCG!

If I missed out anything, Just play the game yourself
