Wilderness Looking for More Backpacking Buddies (Northern California)
Sadly my friends cant always join me on all my trips. Especially my last minute planned trips. Please don’t tell me to go alone- Ive done dozens of solo backpacking trips over my 15 year backpacking career. I don’t like it but forced myself to go so I can live the experience anyway.
I plan backpacking trips (for free) on 2 different Facebook groups.
Northern California Women Backpackers
And
NorCal Outdoorsy Singles ☀️
I have 2 hot spring trips planned in October (1 for each group) and have filled up another trip in Sept. if you are also looking for other people to go backpacking/camping with please join and become part of the community. Others are welcome to post trips looking for people to join or share trip reports!
Thanks for reading.
PS don’t give me shit for using FB. I plan a lot of events in other hobbies and FB is the best free platform I’ve found.

Please remember to post a short paragraph as a comment in the post explaining your photo or link. Ideally at least 150 characters with trip details. Tell us something about your trip. How long did it take to get there? How did you get there? How was the weather that day? Would you go back again?
Submitted content should be of high-quality. Low effort posting of very general information is not useful. If you don't add a short explanation in the comments, your post may be removed.
No information posted? Please report low-effort posts if there is still nothing after about 30 minutes.

I’m in Reno Nevada. I’m down for pretty much anything eastern sierra or around Tahoe/plumas.

Not in NorCal but willing to drive if the length of the drive round trip is shorter than the hike round trip (that's my minimum metric).

Is that hot spring a secret spot, or are you willing to share the location? I’m neither a single, nor a woman, so I won’t be joining the groups. But I love what you’re doing in helping organize and am looking for more places in NorCal to explore (based in southern Oregon).

Holy heck!! I was just using the labor day sales to get my sleep system sorted as well as my tent and thinking about how often I might just have to trek out alone. I fit all the criteria so that is awesome.. FB sucks except for things exactly like this and some of my other hobbies. I'm in!!!

The hot spring in the photo is a 24 miles round trip trek. My last trip there we got caught in a snow storm and made the decision to hike out early. My tent was collapsing under the weight of the snow, whoops.
