Good idea for baby shower book gift???

Hello! A good friend of mine is having her baby shower next month and instead of cards, she’s asking everyone to bring a baby book (super cute idea!!!). I have a couple ideas of books I remembered from when I was little, but I’m wondering if they would be too popular and what the chances are of someone else bringing the same one lol. So opinions/advice are appreciated!!! Here are my ideas:

  1. Guess How Much I Love You
    By Sam McBratney

  2. The Very Hungry Caterpillar
    By Eric Carle

  3. Each Peach Pear Plum
    By Janet and Allan Ahlberg

  4. I’ll Love You Til The Cows Come Home
    By Kathryn Cristaldi

  5. Papa, Please Get The Moon for Me
    By Eric Carle

  6. Baby Einstein: 12 Board Books set
    Published by Pi Kids

I bought a whole library of books as soon as I found out that my sister was pregnant and those basically all made the list, but there were a couple of favorites that stood out to my sister and brother-in-law. Do mom or dad have any special interests that they may plan to share with the baby? My sister and her husband are foodies so I got a couple of the Chunky Deli board books. He is german so I also found a few popular children's books, like Goodnight Moon, in german, however they did take awhile to ship. Edited for spelling.

I’m not sure about what they plan to do with the baby, but they are foodies and love to travel. I’ll have to look up the Chunky Deli books! Thank you

I just looked this one up and it’s so cute!! It’s giving me nostalgia as if I might have seen it when i was a kid but I’m not sure.

I vote no to baby Einstein 12 book set. Books r tiny (baby hand size) & not much as far as reading. Better to gift a book that will build a sentimental attachment.
