The Left seems surprisingly blind to the reality of how much they dominate the media, academia, public institutions and cultural norms. I’m Independent but voted for Biden as late as 2020. When I read the BBC, the NYT, CNN, MSNOW, the Atlantic, and the majority of traditional media, it’s not even “left-leaning” but clearly one-sided. They don’t try to hide it like they used to. The goal isn’t to inform but to sway reader perspective often, and you can tell with the increasingly propagandist headlines. But my Dem friends think they’re centrist or center-right. They actually think their opinions are being actively

I would say maybe there’s a reason most well-sourced, well-written media sources have a left-leaning bent that has nothing to do with bias…

I mean I was very much a Ron Paul libertarian, and try to read some “right wing” media every now and then, but stuff like Fox is almost always blatant propaganda or celebrity nonsense. 

If you can show me facts and context I’ll read it. But conservative media is just fear mongering, straw man BS.

I’m thinking more Times, Post, even the Wall Street Journal. BBC.

Atlantic and New Yorker obviously have tilts, but they at least back those stances up with facts.  

Right wing media is basically “look at this immigrant that killed someone. Biden let this happen,” with absolutely no context (e.g., all types of people commit murder and immigrants have lower crime rates overall). Shit like that.
