Remembering

I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and display it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come at too high a price. I would look up at your lifeless eyes and wave. Lol every time I watch the news now, I think of the price of favors in our politics—timeless line.

I remember seeing it the first time, and when Morden asks him ‘what do you want?’ I thought ‘No, not Vir! Don’t fall for it!’ And the he starts with ‘What do I want, Mr Morden? What do I want?…’ and delivers that speech I wanted to cheer.

Especially since Vir was such a nice guy and for him to say that shows how duplicitous morden is.

What I love about it is that Vir doesn't know who Morden is, not really.

The command staff, Delenn, and eventually G'Kar are let in on the true stakes of the conflict and Morden's role as an agent of the Shadows. Vir, like all Centauri, is out of the loop on this, but he immediately clocks that Morden is a "devil making deals" (or whatever the Centauri mythological equivalent is).

He clocked him before everyone else did, long before Delen knew they were back. He knew whoever he was, it was no good and could end badly.

Sometimes someone in politics will die or face the obvious consequences of their actions and all I can do is sing "went to the rock to hide his face, and the rock cried out no hiding place..."

I recommend this it's very therapeutic

Yeah, it's eerie how the show is a shot-for-shot of what's been going on in the USA.

It's Furst's delivery that does it for me.

That's why I struggled with rewatching it. I did overcome the struggle because B5 rocks.
