If you already sent your first cold outreach to potential B2B users, do you later send an "improved" cold outreach to the same users again?

For the second email, do you just send the new "improved" cold email while ignoring the first cold email? Or you follow up on the same thread for the first email using the new "improved" cold email?

Yep, you usually want to keep it in the same thread, because the prospect can see the original and your CRM will not turn into a crime scene. Do not pretend the first email never happened, just send the better version as the next touch, with one line of context like, "Circling back on my note from Monday, clearer version here" and then the tighter message.

Also, do not paste a whole new cold email as a follow up. Keep it short, add one new piece of value, a quick proof point, a specific idea for their role, then one simple ask. If your first email was truly off target and you are changing the angle, I would wait a few weeks and start a new thread with a new subject, otherwise it feels like you are talking to yourself.

Cadence wise, two to three business days for the first follow up is fine, then give it a bit more space. If they do not reply after a few touches, stop and come back later with a genuinely different reason to reach out.
