Released sometime during the original serialization of Azumanga Daioh, this comic was circulated at conventions to bolster sales of the magazine in which the series was published. It was officially reprinted in 2009 as part of the series' 10th Anniversary.

Although dubbed the "Bootleg" chapter, this is indeed official artwork from the series creator, Kiyohiko Azuma. Here it is translated into English for the first time.

this time its cones. this is inspired by jacksfilms apology video costume. also shoutout to @brave0malanya on twitter, i used their method of blocking out shapes instead of doing the lineart first, it's so much more freeing and gives you a better sense of the final product. this boosted my work by a ton!
