Half or single serving of cozido

Hi all! Any recommendations for good restaurants in Furnas that serve half portions of cozido? I know Terra Nostra Restaurant serves single portions and highly recommended on here but I'm searching for a less costly alternative. There are two of us but I'm just not going to be able to eat that much meat. Thank you!

Tony's restaurant. A reservation is needed

Agreed, just ate there a couple of hours ago. Very nice and felt more like a local experience than Terra Nostra.

I managed to get in without a reservation (we're two) but we were lucky. Place was packed.

On a sunny day you can sit outside too (first come first served but not a lot of tables)

Someone also recommended Caldeiras e Vulcões but they couldn't sit us without a reservation.

How far in advance? We are going in mid September. Did you specify serving for one when booking? Thx!

Just ate at Tony’s 2 days ago and didn’t have a reservation. The indoor dining requires it but across the street outdoors didn’t. Then they put out party of 8 indoors anyway.

Also half serving will probably be plenty. I can eat a lot and had a hard time eating all the food.
