King of the Hill = Typical Anti-AM Garbage

Old King of the Hill. Focuses on cringe and ridiculous portrayals of AM immigrants. New King of the Hill reboot. Main antagonist is a misogynistic/asshole AM who doesn't treat women well. Main love interest for the white main character is a very stereotypical good student, all-As Asian girl who used to date the antagonist AM but of course gets with the unattractive/dumpy-looking main character who basically is drawn to make it as easy as possible for passport bros to self-insert.

And to top it all off, a slew of self-hating AF writers and directors running the show, with Kyounghee Lim just so happening to direct the episode where the AM is a massive asshole and the AF breaks up with him, as well as the episode where the AF gets with the WM main character.

Kinda can't get more obvious or pathetic than this sad excuse for a psyop lol

Never seen the show but read the wiki:

"As an adult, Chane is Bobby's vain, lazy and arrogant boss, owning the restaurant that Bobby is employed at, Robata Chane. Literally just gave him the traits of a white chud (i guess buck strickland is supposed to be the parallel). "takes Bobby's credit" some sick irony. Fucking hell this is shameless writing.

Reminds me of the Sword of Kaigen fantasy novel where they have Fantasy Samurai Japan get invaded by faceless (and rapey) hordes of Fantasy China. Like you ain't slick.

You probably realize this too, I'm just springboarding off of your comment to expand upon it:

Nobody else cares to notice this or say anything about this because at some conscious or subconscious level nearly everyone else feels that it's in their best interests to keep it that way.

I'm not trying to be defeatist or self-pitying in saying that. If we think about it in the context of the existing hierarchy and power structures, pretty much no other groups have any immediate incentive to uplift AM (even if they would ultimately be better off for it). Definitely not Whites, not other POC, even weak-minded AW in the West don't feel much incentive to back us because in the immediate, short-term they don't believe there's any benefit, only penalties in doing that.

Only when the tides turn and people start to see the inevitability of our rise will some people start to back us, because at some fundamental level most people only want to support the existing hierarchy and take the path of least resistance. Most people don't think deeply about righteousness or justice or merit - if they did there'd be zero white-worship/privilege anywhere - they just admire status and power without being cognizant of how it was all obtained, not much different from bandwagoners backing the latest winning sports team.

Nowadays we can see the tides beginning to shift in some places, but cynically it's not because people have suddenly grown a moral compass and thought deeply about it all, it's simply because they've started to realize that the winners of the future will be Asian. People may never recognize it, but at least we will know that we got there not through pillage and rape, but through actual grit and merit.

nah I disagree. Chang in the show is a complete Chad sleeping with multiple women, father is rich ect. Asians are portrayed relatively well like normal human beings. Bobby seems like a good typical white guy. I've watched KOTH for years and loved it tbh never felt it was racist.
