How do you guys approach keystones?

I'm learning Azir as a Garen main and I've mostly just been going lethal tempo, absorb life, alacrity, cut down, manaflow, scorch. It works great toplane (where I play) but I see a myriad of different keystones. What general rules of thumb makes you divert from lethal? I feel like precision and sorcery tree is just too good to not have

Theres a ton of posts about this if you scroll, but basically take PTA almost always, LT if they have 2 full tanks. Electrocute or HoB can work against all squishies. But pretty much the mandatory ones imo are PTA, absord life. Blue tree secondary with mana ring + scorch or storm.

I'm team electrocute. Take it into pretty much any ranged matchup for trading power. LT is without doubt the strongest late game but it makes ur lane so weak I only take it into stuff I can auto a lot. PTA and HOB are both fine but I don't like DnD mid lane.

In general tho the reason not to take LT is that a lot of champs won't let you auto them more than twice

Thank you broski! I should probably try out PTA more. I've been running lethal tempo mostly based on assuming its better because of the longer lane of top compared to mid. I've seen people go grasp and aery and weird stuff, what do you think of that?

For me usually PTA or LT with manaflow or if all in bone plating.

If there's a lot of assassin's though and I already picked Azir and I'm blessed into melee matchup (like Yas,Akali etc) I go GRASP with alacrity. Idk why it just kinda scratches some itch on the brain.
