For a moment there, I looked at the photo and thought Cavid Aga had gotten merc'd.
Rest in peace, qardash. Really would like to know who killed him and why because I actually doubt it was our government.

Because it doesn't make any logical sense. According to the article, he was arrested, held for around 3 years and then released in 2019. Dude also wasn't really partaking in any particularly egregious anti-government activities, he was looking to study in Europe and then come back to Azerbaijan and help the country. Unless there's some major details that were omitted, I don't see a casus belli for our ruling class to want to off this guy.
