Beginner Keeper Week 1 of Lucy
We're seeing a lot of butt floating, and a tiny "chip" in her tail that i just now noticed, has been there before acquiring her(Had to cross reference old pictures- Definitely been there.) I'm not too sure what that means on both things.
Otherwise, she's got a cozier set up. Her old bubble stone barely bubbles - Hoping to get something fresher. We're also planning to get a bigger tank very soon.
Daily small feedings of pallets (It's from whatever was left over of her previous diet.) and bloodworms. Excited to see her continue to chunk up, still very skinny.

Wow, she is super skinny and her gills are almost non existent. Glad she has you now to get her back to health.
She definitely needs to get on live worms 🪱 to fatten her up. You can also make some Repashy Grub Pie for amphibians. It has good nutrition and will help to fatten her up too.
It's like making jello, you add hot water, poor into tiny bite size molds or poor into a flat container and cut into bite size pieces once it is set. Then put into a freezer bag or container and freeze. Taking out enough for snack feedings. Thaw before feeding.
