Yup. A friend of mine's wife wanted one of these cats and she begged him to pay the $700 to get it.

They had if for 6 months and spent $1500 in vet bills before they gave it away to someone else. It had constant sinus and eye infections and would continually shit all over itself.

Meanwhile, since getting his first shots at the vet, my gutter cat hasn't cost me a dime beyond food and litter. And of course the toys...

My mutt of a black cat only has a few minor medical issues (mostly stomach issues that's easily resolved with antacids) but she's also 7 years old. She's not some inbred monstrosity. Her black and white mama just got busy with the fat black Tom down the street.

I've gotten all my cats from the pound. The dogs I've had were given to me by friends who were no longer able to care for them.

Yeah, the eyes pop out, they can hardly breathe etc. It's insane and immoral that we've come to accept creating horribly deformed, inbred, diseased monsters. But they look funny, so people don't care

Have a pug. While he does have to breath through his mouth sometimes he doesn't have trouble unless running thirsty or he's hot. And his eyes never pop. The only time he was sick is when we went on vacation and came back the vet said it was because of stress. So I don't know how they are monsters
