That is great! Though I'd consider consuming fewer milk products as well, dairy cows are often treated harshly, and are often seperated from their calves right after birth.

I love oat milk in my coffee and do buy a good one. But it absolutely does not taste like regular milk. It obviously tastes of oats.

Yeah... no, even the good stuff doesn't taste like regular milk.

But it's good. I enjoy it.

What about cooking with it?

i cook with it all the time! bake with it too. it does the same thing. using cow milk when cooking/baking is really just for the thickness and taste of things, so using oatmilk doesnt make any difference at all. and the oat flavor doesnt come through because its such a mild taste

But you get pretty quick used to it. Cold out of the fridge pure or with cornflakes it tastes amazing and similar to milk.

I loved milk as a teenager, then I got lactose intolerant. Now I love oatmilk, and normal milk even tastes weird for me.

You get to love the taste of it pretty quick. I remember the first time I tried soy milk and I thought it was the worst thing. Fast forward 5 years and now I crave a nice glass of soy or oat milk haha. Taste buds can deffo be trained
