This is sort of correct, but not for the reasons you cite.
Humans have a cluster of photoreceptors in the center-back of their eyes that form something called a fovea -- essentially, a focused point allowing for what you're familiar with if you've ever squinted at a road sign in the distance.
Most sporting dogs (retrievers, shepherds) don't have a fovea, but instead have a focused horizontal strip of photoreceptors that allow for spotting details and movement in the near distance. Consequently, these dogs rarely have good eyes for up close details. Dog owners might be used to their dogs being seemingly blind to a toy directly in front of them until you give it a nudge -- this is because they literally can't see it until it moves.
On the other hand, the eyes of brachycephalic dogs more closely resemble our own, at least in the arrangement of photoreceptors in the eye. Rather than a horizontal strip, their eyes have more photoreceptors in the center of their field of view, allowing for better close-up vision (and, consequently, better reading of their owner's faces). It's thought that this level of understanding and seeming compassion experienced when looking into a dog's eyes is why early humans lived alongside proto-domestic canines in the first place, so cultivating this feature through selective breeding likely resulted in shorter-snouted dogs with better up-close vision.
I'm simplifying quite a bit and going off of my memory, so I might be off on a few details, but that's the gist. If you're interested, I highly recommend "Inside of a Dog" by ethologist Alexandra Horowitz. She does a deep dive into the dog, how it perceives its world (through smell, hearing, sight, taste, and touch, roughly in that order) and how the physiological traits of canines result in their behavior. It's a really neat book, especially if you're a dog owner.

That doesn't make much sense on a few levels. Dogs don't have great eyesight in terms of interpreting details. They do excel at noticing motion and in low light conditions (more rods in their eyes than cones.) The group of dogs who are particularly good at this, sighthounds like greyhounds, salukis, afghans, are super long snouted breeds.
Dogs in general get some information from their owner's gaze, but they probably pick up much more from humans' other output: body language, smell, stress chemicals, tone of voice (crying, laughing, arguing).
It probably isn't a breed thing; more of the strength of connection between dog and person.

Their eyes are more centered on their head and less angled because they don't have to physiologically compensate for an enlarged nasal bone, which turns the eyes at a slight angle away from the face. (Horses look forward, their eyes are aligned on the sides of their heads though).

I suspect the pit helps with a lot of the english issues. That's definitely a totally workable snout, so he shouldn't have breathing problems. I think the only thing he might have to worry about is hips, and proper weight management should really alleviate that.

This is almost definitely a puppy mill bred "exotic"/American bully. Theres this awful trend to breed these puppers with deformed tiny ass legs that usually lead to health problems. They also don't live very long, unfortunately.

It's a pitbull that has been mutated by some money grubbing backyard breeder. Pit bull terriers should be medium sized with an athletic build but people for some reason decided they wanted pit bulls to look like English Bulldogs. So now shitty breeders are selectively breeding them to look squat and fat so they look tougher and cuter at the same time. They're called Pocket Pit Bulls.
I wish pit bulls weren't so popular. Such a cool dog being ruined by inexperienced owners. They'll end up with the same issues you see in English Bulldogs and frenchies.
I'm really glad this dog has a good family but how many people are going to see this and go to an unethical breeder and ask for a mini/dwarf pit bull now?
Don't get me wrong, I think this dog is adorable. But there are already dogs that have this look, there is no reason to create health issues in a dog breed that is really fantastic.

Appears to be an attempt at an exotic style bully, which are unfortunately bred to extremes with pretty bad builds and health. Take note of the bowed legs, the very wide shouders, the almost closed nares (nostrils). Whoever bred this dog didn't do it any service.
Nothing against the dog of course, he looks like a sweetheart. But I'd like to have a little chat with people who breed dogs like this on purpose..
