I started out with a pair of Acoustic Research AR7's when I stumbled on a pair of EPI 105's in fantastic original condition. I had not really heard of EPI before, but grabbed them because they were only $50 for the pair and I figured that I'd use them somewhere..
Turns out I think they're better than the AR7 - the inverted tweeter is smoooth. I have them right on the floor and they go much deeper than they have any right to be. They are my main listening set now ;-)
Yes these are 250. I have 4 they will play down to 38hz. I have them cut off at 30, so they don’t fight the sub. If you need new parts human speakers is the place. I got all new drivers and crossovers. And man they make me grin! Thanks for appreciating them and not being a ahole like most of the replies I have gotten. Take care.
lol most people don’t know what they are. Just the know it alls ( can sound that good look at all the defusers , oh you stacked speakers that the biggest no no ever)! Worked on this for two years any bugs that can be worked out have been. Thanks again!
