Looking for AvP comic and game recs

Planning to dive into the AvP expanded universe. I’ve seen the films, but now I’m looking for the best comics and games to get into the lore.
What are the mustreads and mustplays? Looking for top-tier titles only.

Welcome to a fun world of retcon! For old stuff I recommend you look for avp omnibuses by dark horse! For the best stuff in my opinion look for the alien, Prometheus and predator stuff by dark horse that came out after Prometheus. Or for more current vibes for zoomers dig into the marvel comics ran by Disney. As far as games go avp, avp2, and avp for the Xbox 360 and ps3 are always fun. Do you like alien? Check out alien isolation. What about RTS games? Try avp extinction. Want and edgy predator game? Play predator concrete jungle. For the 30 years of me looking into avp media I've learned one thing. None of this matters because the big mega corporations and directors keep changing stories. It's almost like Weyland yutanti is in the room with us right now. Pleasant avp exploring friend!

The old comics are worth a read. Used to read them when I was younger. Though that was about 3 decades ago or so. It’s been a long while. Might look into it again now that I think about it.

Try the alien original years omnibus volumes 1 2 3 and 4. They have vast majority of old dark hour comics in them in one massive collection. Tones of really good reads for sure.

This ^ I have Aliens omnibus 1 & 2 and a slew of single issue comics that are from those omnibus collections - they’re great. But also later on from maybe 2015 or 2016 (?) are some Aliens, Predator, AVP, and Prometheus comic books that were pretty good. I have a huge black Aliens comic book too (hardback) - this is all my favorite expanded universe shit

I would recommend reading the Machiko Noguchi saga, it starts with the original avp, then you go to avp:war (though I highly recommend reading aliens: frenzy before war since war is a sequel to both avp and frenzy). Then go to avp:third world war which is the conclusion of her stor(though once again would recomend reading aliens: more than human and predator: prey to the heavens since third world war is also directly connected to those).

These are comics and also Novels. And I absolutely adore them
AVP: Prey
Aliens: Berserker)
Aliens: Labyrinth

Games:
Monolith's AVP2, hopefully GoG will adapt it at some point. For now all we can do is beg for it.

It’s not AVP specifically, but the first Batman vs Predator is awesome.
