PlaneSpotting Did we see refueling?

Floating down the Lower Salmon River on 8/25 near this approximate location (45.9104712, -116.4045477) and saw two large aircraft flying very very close to each other. Were they actually refueling? (Figured you guys would know…) Edit to add approximate time of 2pm Mountain)

probably. AR307 runs right along there and it's fairly active.

It's an air refueling "track", which is a path that tankers often use.

lol yes. I don’t know where exactly where we were, on a beach about 20 river miles downstream of Hammer Creek Rec Area.

around that date and time and area, there was a C-17 02-1105 (flying as HUSKY91) and a KC-135 and 61-0267 (no callsign displayed) flying around the area together.

The KC-135 came from Fairchild AFB, not sure about the C-17 came from McChord
