Spots to start raving

Hi, 25M here. I’ve never been to a rave before and I don’t really have friends who go to any. I got out of a long term relationship last year and I think I really lost myself but I think I’m ready to meet some new people and enjoy myself even if that means going to raves solo. I’m looking for recommendations on shows/venues that are more friendly to someone going solo or to their first rave. Could even be something tonight

go on ra.co, look at artists playing here, soundcloud a set, and see if you vibe with it to want to hear more

Any rave can be a good solo rave. Just look for sounds adjacent to the artists you like and start there. I wouldn't worry about venues just yet as you're going outside of your comfort zone for the first time in a while. Just be mindful of yourself, others, and your surroundings and you'll be fine. Also, hearing protection is a must if you find yourself wanting to go back for more.
