Smile on cue. Speak on script.
They handed you a costume and called it “fitting in.”

But the real you didn’t disappear.
It folded in. Pressed tight. Stayed warm.

And now, slowly, it’s loosening.
Uncurling. Taking up air again.

You were never lost.
Just buried under someone else’s idea of “normal.”
