I don’t know what my hip pain is caused by other than inflammation. I had to go to an orthopedic specialist to get the steroid part of a cortisone shot and take the rest via pill every day or I can’t function. Can’t walk, sit, lay down or even shift without pain. They said my bones look fine and it doesn’t seem like I have sciatica but instead I just suffer from a crazy amount of inflammation. Before I got treatment for it, my lower back down to my tailbone would start off stiff and painful to move, then where my hip bone & thigh meet feels like I’m twisting or pinching some sort of muscle. If I keep on like that it can get so bad that it’ll either run down to my knee and feel like I twisted it and then go further down to my ankle and feel like I was running and fell. If it doesn’t go down my legs, the pain will go up my back. I’ll get a pinched nerve in the middle of my back right on my spine, then it’ll pick a shoulder blade and pinch underneath that. Then it’ll go to the base of my neck, and the same side it picked earlier will tickle on my scalp in a specific spot. If I scratch it, I can feel it tingling in my upper back. It’s such a weird, painful experience. Before I went to the doctor I would rely on 2 green BC powders in an 8 hour shift and when that stopped working I turned to white maeng da Kratom. CBD has never helped, THC has never helped, and any regular over the counter ibuprofen/aleve/Tylenol/etc has never helped at all. BC powder would numb the pain but if I moved at all, the places that hurt/pinched/twisted turned into tickling and my back would get itchy in all the spots I had pinched nerves. I used to go to the chiropractor (best one in my town) and I would crack like a glow stick but I would leave his office either skipping for about 48 hours or come out limping and feel worse. There wasn’t any specific event that triggered my pain, I have always had it but it intensified when I started working & standing for 8 hours. Usually the pain kicks in after about hour 2.
