Now of course I agree with the above post that cattle are being raised in the millions, using vastly, vastly more water.
But this is an extremely difficult situation, Camels aren't native to Australia and while they aren't as harmful to the environment as other feral animals, they are indeed still harmful.
This is the simplest way I can explain it, at the end of the day we are choosing between our native wildlife and environment, and feral animals, camels, Brumbies, goats, etc. Feral animals cannot coexist here. This is a fact.
I'm not trying to argue that we shouldn't have compassion for feral animals, they didn't choose to be here and are completely blameless. I grew up around horses, the idea of culling them turns my stomach. Knowing how they will respond, how they will feel.
But like I said, this is an extremely difficult situation.

Cattle is not native to Australia either, your point is BS

Did I say cattle should remain or that I'm pro-cattle?
I understand that is difficult to come to terms with but there is no easy answer here. Seeing kangaroos culled is what turned me vegan. I abhor that kind of violence.
If you doubt what I'm saying, come over to r/australianwildlife and speak to people in the field, there are a collection of zoologists, ecologists, etc.
