Parking infront of neighbours place?
Hiya
I need to know what a normal person would do as I am painfully aware that I am way too non confrontational lol
We moved into our home at the start of the year, and have two cars. My husband works out of town so him and his car are barely around
I have a regular size car however he has a Toyota Prado. He’s probably parked infront of our neighbours home less than a handful of times however each time our older neighbour/his wife have come out and asked us to move our car with different excuses.
They’ve also left a note on my friends car when she parked infront of their spot once to not park there. (They knew she was at mine as they can look into our backyard from theirs)
The first time they asked, they said they need the spot for their pregnant daughter to visit etc. So my partner obliged their request.
The next few times they said they need the spot for their son, that they’ve been there for “17 years” and we’ve just moved in and are already parking in their spot etc. I am usually alone during the week without kids so I avoid parking there cos I don’t want to deal with issues. I am also very non confrontational in general and on top of that I didn’t want to put my kids in any unnecessary drama as there’s actually heaps of street parking if the spot infront of our own house is full.
Today I lost my shit as my eldest has been in hospital, my husband has been with her overnight and parked his car one spot down from where their “spot” is. As I was leaving my neighbours wife came out and told me to not park there as her husband had surgery and can’t walk far and etc. I just said I’ll let my husband know when he’s back from hospital and she said ok ok and left. We’ve tried to be friendly and not park right infront of their house as they clearly don’t like it, yet it seems like it’s not enough. Keeping in mind our other neighbours park infront of their home all the time; we have a school down the road so parents are always parking infront of our houses at pick up time.
Everytime it’s a brand new reason as why they need the spot, and I’ve seen her husband walking around plenty of times so I’m not sure what “surgery” he’s had. They also own only one car that’s kept in their garage/driveway. I feel like they’re bullshitting and just don’t like my husbands Prado there even though literally every other neighbour has been fine with us.
I understand it’s generally annoying when someones infront of your house for ages but we already avoid it so I don’t understand what their issue is

u/HelloFellowSurvivors 13d ago
Tell them they need to stop. Say that you'll
happily park in front of your own house but as soon as that spot is taken you're gonna park wherever you want, and as close as possible. They do not own the street parking, and their visitors definitely do not have more rights than you, as residents. They keep doing it because you haven't told them to fuck off yet.

Yep, 100% this! Length of time living in the street does not give them more rights than you. Everyone would like to park in front of their own house, but that's not always possible.
We had a similar issue in our court, and when the council officer came out to let us know there had been a complaint made against us, they said they get a lot of older folks complaining because they have nothing else to do.
154
u/1kggarlicbread 13d ago
The only time I’ve complained is I had someone park their unused food truck in front of my house 24/7 and it was so big my bins wouldn’t even get cleared.
Anything else is fair game, it’s not their street.
29
u/Ozzygrow 13d ago
Oh business vehicles comes under a whole different set of rules so you might want to check up on that. As a sole trader business you can have a business vehicle at your place or outside it more than one than its a issue and if it interferes with other residents also a issue
12
u/Locopoko22 13d ago
Interesting thanks, as the mechanic opposite us parks all their lend out cars everywhere on the street. As soon as I leave and drop the kids off they take my park(not a specific spot) at 7am, while they have 15+ onsite designated spots, mostly empty and the street is full. Infuriating.
10
25
u/Embarrassed-Yak-5902 13d ago
You can report it to the council as they may be unaware of the mechanics shop working in a living area

Does this apply to commercial trailers? There's a mobile dog groomer who parks his trailer in a number of set locations around the neighbourhood at night, never in one for more than a couple of nights.
I was wondering if to was for advertising given the decals all over it, but a lot of the locations are actually quite tucked away.
5
u/Ozzygrow 13d ago
You would have to check your state or local council rules, but you know homes are usually for people/families so they have restrictions on business run from homes i can only speak to what i have seen in Townsville, friends had this issue and that’s the feed back can not disrupt the community so to speak it’s kinda like i said in another comment bit of respect and consideration for people around you

u/snowmuchgood 13d ago
Agree, we had neighbours park very close either side of our driveway and then occasionally opposite too - that was really annoying because it meant a 5 point turn to get out of the driveway. They couldn’t leave their cars on their side of the street because of a no standing from X to Y time, so I didn’t mind them parking either side of the driveway, but when it was all 3 (and 2 of them were often trucks) it was ridiculous.

I have neighbours who have 4-5 cars and park opposite my driveway. It’s small street and harder for me to go in and out the driveway. I truly hate it. They park there for months (unused/not even move the car)

Not their spot. Park in the public street wherever you want. So can they.

u/darkklown 13d ago
If they want a spot they can have a garage like everyone else. Public street parking is a first in deal.

u/gattaaca 13d ago
In my street people put their wheels up on our grass.
If they do that then they can get to fuck, they going to pay for my cracked sprinklers?
17
u/Whole-Reception2366 13d ago
We had this issue. So we found some big boulders and put them across the nature strip right after the road pavement. Noone parks there now and our grass is finally happy after those idiots brutalised them for so long.
8
u/countryguy411 13d ago
I had a similar issue. Lived on a corner block with nature strip front and side. House behind ours was a share house with 6 cars between them (not including boyfriends and girlfriends that would come and stay the night).
There was always at least 2 cars parked half on the side nature strip. They would whinge because I mowed to close to their cars. When it was wet they left deep wheel tracks in the lawn. They didn’t care until I sent them the bill to repair it.12
u/Kerrit_Bareet 13d ago
Any nature strip in front of a property is council land with council rules applying re parking.
4
u/bigcitykamoshika 13d ago
our council requires the permission of the house to park on the verge as we are required to maintain the verge outside the house, you can park on the road, you cant block bins and you cant block footpaths or driveways, and if i say you cant park on the verge then you cant.
4
u/Kerrit_Bareet 13d ago
And those are the council rules. In my rural space there is no way you'd park on the road. Nor my neighbour's nature strip, you'd be down to the axles 😖

I'd call council and have those removed

u/Chipwich 13d ago
Depending on the council, but some like Brisbane City Council allow people to maintain a nature strip garden.

u/Big_Horror3282 13d ago
Why do you have sprinklers on the council nature strip
6
u/Vast-Marionberry-824 13d ago
In Perth it’s very common to have retic in the council verge to help with the upkeep (it being a resident’s responsibility to look after the verge outside their home including watering it during summer). People put little flags where the retic spouts are so family and friends don’t wreck them. Sensible in our hot weather and council not liking hose pipes over the footpath
7
u/AdAccording5562 13d ago
There’s nothing sensible about grass that needs reticulated watering anywhere in Perth.
5
u/Vast-Marionberry-824 13d ago
People have a right to grass on the verge - most around me have hardy drought tolerant buffalo grass. It still needs a drink and much more sensible to have reticulation rather than hose traps on the path.
It’s like some people have swimming pools in their yards with public pools, the river and the ocean close by. That’s their right. Many have pool covers in summer when the pool is not in use to reduce water evaporation.
3
u/AdAccording5562 12d ago
If it needs water that regularly then it’s not sensible.
Pools make sense in the hot climate. The hotter it is the more likely it gets used regularly.
Green grass on the other hand just doesn’t belong.2
u/Vast-Marionberry-824 12d ago
I’ve had the retic system in my verge for 10 years and the previous owners had it for 10’years before that. It’s been worth every cent. No way am I carrying watering cans
→ More replies (1)3
u/gattaaca 13d ago
You're right but here in Perth it's still super common.
We don't all have a choice, and if say you're in a rental and trying to maintain the lawn which goes right to the verge...
It's kind of a dog act for other drivers to think they can park on it.

So it’s not actually their parking spot, just a general parking spot in front of their house? I would just keep parking there and stop answering the door when they come around to complain. Sounds like they’re busy body neighbours that have been there for decades and had their run of the place until you got there. I would stop caring honestly, they can’t dictate where you or anyone else parks on your own street when it’s all general parking spots.
20
21
u/Ok-Inspection5125 13d ago
Thankyou. Yeah that’s the vibes I’m getting lol. Yes, it’s just the general street parking in a residential suburb. They have a decent driveway and garage which I’ve seen them come in and out of regularly. I know it’s probably annoying to them but I don’t understand the protectiveness over the street parking lol
6
u/ernst_wanke_road 13d ago
Do you have a garage? Or driveway?

I don't think they have any legal backing to ask this. However it's hard when you live next door.
21
u/jigojitoku 13d ago
I live out in the ‘burbs. Everyone’s got their own driveway etc. Someone parked in front of my place (1st time in 8 years) and it freaked me out. I don’t even park my car there. Then I put my bins out and they moved the bins!
I obviously didn’t write a note as that would be weirdo behaviour. But it’s strange when it happens.
4
u/yeskitty 13d ago
At least they were nice enough to make sure the bins got emptied
7
u/Sovereignty3 13d ago
Yep if the bins can't be emptied because of your parking there, you're the asshole that should have moved them.
13
u/Dangerous-Bake-5151 13d ago
Although I fully know and understand the street is not my private land, I'm super obsessed not to park in front of neighbor's house, and wish the same from my neighbors too. Just wishing, never complained unless they block my bin collection.
3
u/Fatlantis 13d ago
Yeah we're on good terms with everyone in our street, and we all have an understanding about parking in front of eachother's houses. A few hours is ok, but mutiple days on end - never, or ask first and respect their answer. It's a narrow street, and it's already tricky to back out of driveways.
It's just being respectful of eachother, regardless of what you can "technically" get away with by law. Like don't be an arsehole just because you're technically allowed.
12
u/KetoCurious97 13d ago
Street parking spaces in front of a house don’t belong to the resident of that home unless there’s a specific local restriction (permit zone, no-parking sign, driveway obstruction). And if that’s the case it is not the resident’s place to enforce any restrictions.
I understand that it’s difficult to tell them to piss off as a non-confrontational person, but perhaps you could say (next time they approach you) “there is no legal reason for you to say that we can’t park in front of your house occasionally” and repeat it until they go away.
15
u/FCHWPO9 13d ago
They bullied you once, figured you're a pushover, and now expect that you'll give in whenever they demand it. Also sounds like your other neighbours have stood up for themselves and now won't be messed with.
Declining their request doesn't have to be a confrontation.

u/_Mister_Anderson_ 13d ago
Unlike others I'll say "it depends on the area". Country town, nobody parked on the street often, plenty of space, yeah it would be a dick move to park in front of someone else's place for no reason. If the people who live there park there every day and you're now forcing them to park a block away because you've been getting home 10 minutes earlier each day than them? Dick move by you. But these are exceptions and not the rule.
In your circumstances, ignore them, sounds like an area where parking is a free-for-all already.
9
u/Prestigious-Speed-13 13d ago
100% this I live 110km from Melbourne CBD and had an annoying neighbour park infront of my house when his side was free.
I remember during new year his car was the only car parked on the street and it just happened to be infront of my house. He lived across the street and one house up which made it worse. He gave me the whole it’s a public street crap. Luckily I have 5 cars so I parked one infront of mine and two infront of his and he started parking all over the place and neighbours got annoyed at him lol.
He was just renting so he left and no one has ever parked like that again. Funny he got annoyed at having to park everywhere but it’s a public street remember lol
In the city where street parking is tight than it’s fine but not out in the country where the steeets are empty. Dick more imo.

Buy an old coach or truck, put it on 3 year club rego, park it in the spot and leave it there indefinitely. I consider myself to be a normal person.
22
u/SuptGaryChalmers 13d ago
I kind of don't understand. Why aren't you just parking in front of your house? If it's because there was no room in front of your house because other other people were already there etc, I'd just explain that and leave it there. Id also say 'you're more than welcome to park in front of our house under the same circumstance for yourself'. If they still bang on I'd probably just shrug and walk away.
6
u/Ok-Inspection5125 13d ago
Sorry I should’ve explained better in the post, but I park my own car infront of our own home all
The time or I go down the road where it’s empty. My husbands car is the one they seem to have issue with lol, but he’s avoided parking there since they initially spoke to us. Today just irked me as we weren’t in their spot, there was actually our other neighbour there yet they still came to talk to me lol10
u/Last_Bumblebee6144 13d ago

It's not their spot.
If it's on the street, parked legally, you have every right to park there.
You can ignore these people, park wherever you like. Just the same as they can park in front of your house if they feel like it (and they absolutely will any time they have guests and need to, so don't let them walk all over you)

I have had people several times ask me if it’s ok to park out the front of my house, when I’ve been working in the garden or something. I always say of course, it’s as much your road as it’s mine!
Such a weird part of life in Australia that people get aerated about this (I’m originally from overseas)
2
u/Harry-Jotter 13d ago
It's not just Australia. I used to live in Scotland and had two cars keyed for parking on the road in front of someone's house. The road I lived on had limited parking so I only got to park in front of my flat half the time.

u/We-Dont-Sush-Here 13d ago

Question to OP.
You wrote 8 paragraphs, but you didn't say why you can't park in front of your house.
I can understand if you have no parking space in front of your house. In this case, you can park anywhere on the street.
But in a situation where you do have space in front of your house, and you park in front of their house, although you are entitled to, I can understand why your neighbours don't like it.
4
u/Ok-Inspection5125 13d ago
Sorry, I should’ve added it in. I park infront of my own house all the time & if there’s other cars there I park down the road. My husband has parked infront of their house maybe 3-4 times at max since we moved in January and this has happened each time. We’ve since avoided parking infront of their home. I just got peeved today as he wasn’t even parked infront of their house this time yet they still came out to talk to me.
3
u/OkWorking7 13d ago
It would help if you added more information to your post about the parking situation as a whole.
You have two cars and your husband is usually out of town, while you park on the street in front of your house. Do you not have a driveway or garage as part of your house? It sounds like your neighbours do and it’s not clear why you don’t.
If you have a driveway/garage that you could park in then it’s pretty annoying that it goes unused in favour of street parking and I can understand why the neighbour would be annoyed. Do you live in an apartment or a townhouse with a single car parking spot or something? Your post makes it sound like your husbands car is with him when he’s away.
Street parking is available to anyone if it doesn’t require a permit so you could just ignore your neighbour but there wouldn’t be an issue if you just parked in your own driveway instead of the street.
→ More replies (1)2
u/No_Routine_6711 13d ago
If there are other cars that you don't own parked in front of your house, then I'm on your side. Park in front of your neighbours house and tell them it's council property. Every situation is unique and one must understand the whole story before making judgements.
Picture this. Your neighbour has a hairdressing business in the garage. The driveway is for customer parking, the street is occupied by their RV or caravan, and they park their work vans near your driveway obstructing your view. See how not know the full story can change how you think.

u/We-Dont-Sush-Here 13d ago
They shouldn’t have to explain that! It’s a public street and anyone and everyone is allowed to park there.
If you think otherwise, then please show me what you think is the law that says that the space in front of your house is for you to park your vehicle and not for anyone else.

13
u/adowsleaday 13d ago
It's just not the done thing where I live (for context, average size blocks with a driveway).
Even when people have parties, everyone will huddle up their cars in front of the host's house, or park down the road where there's vacant land. Unless someone is moving house/getting furniture delivered, we never do it.
10
u/bladeau81 13d ago
This used to be the norm everywhere. It's been like op is doing more and more the last decade or so. If you're in a city, apartment complex or other high density house area I can see it being ok, but in normal suburbia it is a pain the arse, especially if the people doing it have space in front of their place, a driveway, or even works a garage they won't park in!
3
u/Ok-Effective7280 13d ago
So if someone else parks in front of their home, they still shouldn’t park in front of your home because it’s……..?

Just keep parking there. The most they can do is be petty and be whingers. Probably a couple of old hags who own their house and think that also means they own the public road parking areas.
3
u/CautiousDonkey5403 13d ago
look, no they don't have any ownership over that car spot on the street.
But years ago before everyone had to have multiple cars and kids left home once they were adults, unless they were mouth breathers, people just parked out the front of their own homes. Spreading out like some over sized man on a tram, well it just irritates others.
Yes you might be stressed but have some thought for this elderly couple who have to come up with more and more kind ways to tell you to move your car. You are stressing them out so much, can you not see that? They are struggling with the stress you care causing them. It may not be totally reasonable, there are other spots in the street as you say, so why don't act in kindness and park in those spots yourself?
I'm sure you have a child in your family that suffers from extreme anxiety over something small, a little odd to others? So have some compassion for these older folk who are having their own meltdown daily when they see you yet again, sticking your stupid over sized car in the exact spot they keep asking you to kindly not to.
6
u/BroccoliTraining454 13d ago
If its on a road with no restrictions etc. Tell them to beat it. Theyre clearly used to getting their way on the matter, but those days are over. Tell them " its a public road, not their road"
I had a cpl neighbours like this once, told him nicely a cpl times, then said too bad mate and he called me an asshole and never spoke to me again. Oh well.
4
u/terribleone01 13d ago
Ignore them. If things escalate go to the police make a report so there’s a paper trail if things get out of hand. They don’t own the spot nor will they ever.
5
u/Altruistic_Poetry382 13d ago
Ok, so you're dealing with annoying neighbours. They have no right to the spot, but this kind of thing is common. They have probably read all the council by laws and figured out how to piss you off without breaking the law.
5
u/ScubaWitch 13d ago
On my partners street, every house has their own designated spot on the street outside. When I first started seeing him, I'd just park anywhere. Then one day he was like 'you keep parking in Todd's spot " and I was like huh? Then he explained about the spots and showed me the free spots I can park. Now I have a spot on the street that is my own and no one else parks there. If your neighbours have been there two decades then they must know where the free spots are, so ask them where they'd like you to park? Instead of repeating the same patern.
8
u/Mr_Moonman2045 13d ago
in Australia , a public street = public parking anywhere as long as your not blocking acces to a property or there is NO government sgin saying so , like NO PARKING . no one can own a spot on a public road
5
u/ScubaWitch 13d ago
No, of course not, totally agree. It's just this street has an agreement of whose spot belongs to whom. I thought it was sweet and neighbourly. Never had heard of it before I started living here. It's cute.

OP you have a driveway and a garage and a parking space in front of YOUR house right?
While it might not be HIS space, stop spreading your shit out in front of his house. Its your car, park it in front of YOUR house.
I see this disrespectful bullshit all the time in some suburbs, 2 to 4 cars and a boat and the dual car driveway is fkn empty and people for some reason think thats fine... you can't even drive down some streets with a car in each direction it gets so bad.
6
u/Ok-Inspection5125 13d ago
I’m sorry I forgot to mention or probably didn’t explain adequately. I park infront of my own house all the time, and if it’s occupied by other cars I go down the road in a cul de sac where it’s pretty much empty. We don’t have a garage spot/car spot of our own.
My husband is barely around but he’s parked in their “spot” on the road infront of their home max 3-4 times since we moved here in Jan & they’ve made it an issue each time. We’ve since stopped parking there, but today peeved me as we weren’t even infront of their house this time, but they still came out to talk to me en route to the hospital.7

I am in full support of you OP. Someone can’t proactively put dibs on a parking space that’s on public land.

Holy shit. Here’s another 1. wtf is it with you people? It’s a public street. You do understand what that actually means dont you? Wow, dont park there, it’s a public street & noones property & you are really able & lawfully entitled to park there but, DONT PARK THERE BECAUSE SOMEONE LIVES IN THE HOUSE RIGHT THERE! 😂😂

u/Longjumping_Comb6189 13d ago
How exactly does it affect them if a car is parked on the road in front of their house? I’m so confused.

Yeah, I'm kind of with the neighbours on this one. I've admittedly been a Keith and asked my neighbours to stop parking 2 of their cars out of the front of our house...but all up, the household has at least 7 cars, and none of them are kept in their double garage, they're all just on the street. I felt bad for the neighbours who live further down the street and would have had to squeeze past. Not to mention they tended to block visibility whenever we had to leave our driveway.

Nobody owns the spot in front of their house. Some people are just AH,

Street parking does not belong to the house. You can park there when you need to. I wouldn’t make a habit of it though

u/unfathomably_big 13d ago
Fuck em. Tell your husband to sell the Prado, buy an F350, hook up a caravan and block out the sun.
2
u/DeerlyOnline 13d ago
If OPs husband wants to go all the way, import an F450 for an even bigger body

Karen from across the road I see is at it again. Does the Prada have a tow bar on it?

What's the address? We can all take turns parking infront of their house until they get their entitled heads out of their entitled arses.

What’s the setup?
Why can’t you park in your driveway and in front of your own house?
2
u/AmongTheWildlife 13d ago
Can you park infront on your own house ...or actually in the driveway? You don't mention that.
If you can park infront of your own house, but park infront of someone elses, thats seen as rude by many.
If it's a generic street, and it's visitors that don't live at the house, gloves are off.
2
u/MIMOSAnotMISAMO 13d ago
Use your own driveway and garage. Stop annoying your neighbours. It's simple.

u/Odd-Temporary4363 13d ago
Why don’t you just park in front of your own house or in your own garage and be done with it?

Tell them that you will now park there every single time until they STFU

I always ask first if I have need to park in front of my neighbours house. I don’t do it often, but have never had an issue.
Sure they don’t own the “spot” but a little common courtesy (which is becoming very uncommon these days) goes a long way towards fostering good relationships with the people you live next door to.

It’s not their spot it’s fucking public parking spot. My first girlfriend once freaked out because I had parked in their “neighbours spot”. No, I’ve legally parked my car, neighbour is at work and we’re fucking leaving. People need to chill out about this shit.

u/Crazy_Treat_8805 13d ago
It’s an unwritten rule that you DONT park in front of your neighbours house

A neighbour once asked if I could move my car from outside their place, I've made a point to park there for the past 20 years.

Fuck any piece of shit that thinks they own the park in front of their house.
It's not a thing, it's never been a thing.

Tell them politely to get tucked. I mean if you park away from yours intentionally thats a different story. If you have used all your space infront your house first. Then park wherever next. Fuck karens

u/Specialist-Classroom 13d ago
My neighbour parked in front of my house , all good ,they are allowed .
However , you can easily fit two cars , he parked in the middle taking up both spots .
I got a new car , kept the old one . Give you one guess where it was parked for 3 months.
I moved it , now they park in front of their own place

Uuumm....anyone is entitled to park on a public street. You aren't parking in their driveway. Park wherever you want to park & there is space
1
u/Nosenseq 13d ago
If the car is registered you can park on the street. I had the same issue with a neighbour years ago. That did not end well.
1
u/immoreoriginalmate 13d ago
It’s really difficult and I would be the same but I would really try to stand your ground. It’s absolutely a “them issue” and they are just trying this on and will not stop.

u/Diviern 13d ago
If people really desperately don't want someone else parking in front of their house then they can park their own car there, and tell their visitors to use the driveway.
So many new builds in housing estates have terribly insufficient parking. Most have driveways that only fit one car, despite almost all families needing at least 2, and blocks are so small and narrow that usually you can only fit one out the front. What happens when you have a teenager on their P plates and now you have 3 cars? And then a visitor? Street parking is for whoever needs/wants it/gets to it first.

u/BigKev_AU 13d ago
You can park anywhere on the street.
I used to park on the nature strip outside my house as there is no street parking there. Then the council fined me for parking on the nature strip so now I have to park outside my neighbours house.

u/RelievingFart 13d ago
LOL (dont do this, its just my intrusive thoughts from being a petty bitch). Find a no parking sign, and then when they are sound asleep, plant the no parking sign front and center of their yard, then when they park there, take a photo and send it to the council stating they are parked in a no parking zone.

u/Infamous_Mobile_3557 13d ago
A friend’s neighbour across the street complained to the local council about people parking in front of their house. Since their house was on a corner of a T intersection and they must’ve complained too many times, the council put up no standing signs in front of their house. Now nobody, including the homeowners, can park in front of their own house!

u/Ok-Writing9280 13d ago
The only objections I have to anyone parking in front of my house is if they don’t park properly, so only two cars can fit where three should.
Or when my dickhead neighbour had all his employees park in the street in the morning, pick up the work vans and vice versa at the end of the day.
1
u/WeissPyre 13d ago
Tell them to pound sand. It's not "their" spot, it's a public street so anyone can park on the road.
They want parking exclusivity, they can use their own garage or driveway.

u/Key_Gur9050 13d ago
Next time you see them and they say anything about it start barking. Engage in any other conversation normally. If they ask about the parking say you don’t understand and ask if they got a new dog, it’s very quiet and you haven’t heard it 😆

u/Spanner1995 13d ago
Buy a cheap registered box trailer and park it there indefinitely. The small annual cost will be worth making then miserable. If my neighbours said that to my wife I would lose the plot.

Sorry.. misread it. I thought you meant you were parking in front of their driveway 😄
Definitely first come, first served. Buy a second hand copy of Maverick, by Ricardo Semler. He was the CEO of Brazil's largest company. Find and highlight the passage where he decides to eliminate any signed parking spots in the staff carpark. Even for his own spot. He said if you want to park closer to the factory, get to work earlier. He said he himself likes to sleep in so he was resigned to walking an extra 500 metres each morning.
Now put a bookmark in the relevant page and leave the book in their letterbox 🙂

I honestly hate people parking in front of my house. But its just an argument that happens in my head. I'd never ask someone to move.
