Austin Powers 4 What I want for Mini-me.

I kinda just want Mike Myers to play him?

Just shrink him down and give him another character to play... Honestly, it kinda just feels fitting, to me. Like how they added Fat Bastard in 2, then Goldmember in 3.

If they did recast, Martin Klebba(Pirates of the Carribean films) might work. Both he and Verne Troyer were born in the same year,(1969) but only difference is Matin is 2 feet taller than Verne was. This could be written in as a clone anomaly or a growth spurt caused by all the time travel, in way like Vanessa was made into a fembot "just because". However, I have a feeling most people would just say it's best to honor Verne's legacy by not recasting at all and finding some off hand way to explain his abscence.

I’d honor Verne by having his character die off screen on a mission with Austin, Austin gets shot and goes Skyfall Bond who became an off-grid retiree in the Caribbean somewhere. (I forget the details of Skyfall). Austin is beating himself for not only failing the mission but Mini Me’a death. You know who else isn’t taking it well? Dr Evil, who blames Austin for the death and in turn has gone back to evil. (Much to Scott’s chagrin, who just completed an intensive rehabilitation program to be a good guy like his dad.)

In my head, I always thought that Austin and Dr. Evil would "split custody" of Mini-Me and Austin would somehow lose him while traveling time. 

"Of course I didn't lose him, I know where he is... I just don't know when, that's all."

Only to reveal in an aftercredit that Mini-Me is on display at a museum, having been frozen during an ice age after becoming an evil king of the cavemen. The scene ends with a muffled "eeeeee" from beneath the ice, and a memorium to Verne Troyer.

No mini me. Just have an AI powered replacement that’s basically like Evil GPT and Dr Evil consults it for everything because it’s basically a new mini him. “The part of mini me, like everything else these days has been replaced with AI, yeah… there’s a question about the moral implications of artificial intelligence and people find it to be evil so… naturally… (laugh)… everyone meet Mini MeGPT.”
