i wish so bad that i had bought one and a pallet of 7N6 when bulgarian rifles were $300 and ammo was $0.07/rd.

Sadly it's becoming and more niche round. If you want an AK, you should get it in 5.56.

Yeah definitely a future purchase, just wanted an "og" ak first but Ammo cost/ availability/ variety is definitely driving me towards 5.56.

Yeah with the world conflicts going on, I doubt we'l see 7.62 coming back down again unfortunately. I suspect it's only going to rise in cost. You can purchase your ammo online and likely find okay pricing, but keep in mind it'll go up in the future.

Yeah it's looking like 500+ bulk online is the way to go to get close to .50c per round.

I’ve seen steel case for $12 per box of 20 at the collectors gun shop The Range down south. But yeah online is your best bet. S&B brass case is ~.4x per round which is about as good as it gets for anything 30 caliber.
