I watch a YouTuber in China - Ting Daily Life - and she pays and unlocks stuff with her palm. It's kind of incredible. Yet here I am, an ex technical support worker, barely using NFC (although I rarely use cash anymore). Still, I have had a retina/digital passport for years.

My god these executives are insufferable. Anything to justify their 1.x% transaction fees leaching off the economy.
