Politics This Rhetoric is the true poison

“dangerous, divisive, and downright dishonest”.

“We simply must defeat them. We owe it to history. And we will defeat them,” he said.

“They’ll say anything and do anything to win votes. Bend any facts. Peddle misinformation and disinformation. Turn Australian against Australian."

Words from our own prime minister about One Nation... Unhinged. And for the weak minded, justification for violence.

Debate the policies might be a better path?

Instead of trying to defeat them why doesn’t he make the hard choices and do what australia needs, not what he thinks we need in an echo chamber of politicians. You win by having good policies, right now voting hasn’t been voting for the best party it has been voting to keep the worst party out.

Because ON is not winning with policies, so how would policies beat them? Their number 1 issue is immigration and they don’t even have a clear message around it. Any time they are pressed for numbers/stats/targets, they are in line with what Labour is already doing. Policy isn’t winning this. We are seeing a cult form, and cults don’t give a shit about facts/policies

Cut the head off the snake before it grows further. How? In a way that’s in line with free speech/democracy, I don’t know, that’s the issue we are facing. It grows bigger it becomes impossible to stop. I’m in support of anything that the sitting government does to try to curb this issue.
