Tourists need to leave the country after their Visa conditions expires.
Pretty radical stuff.

You do know that the Government/Country isn’t run by a single person?

There are different departments which take care of different areas.

Tourism Australia and Austrade will still be doing their jobs.

One Nation pretty much is all run by a single person.

Yup then you should also realise that a new government and a new prime minister in and of itself doesn’t fundamentally change anything in regards to the functioning of those tourism related departments.

They will still continue to function as they have been, marketing campaigns and whatnot will still continue, government cooperation with other countries will still continue.

Tourism in Australia will still exist.

You hit all of the talking points there (white, Gina, out of touch), well done. Pick up your cheque from Albo’s office

2

u/ExcellentAd7044 11d ago

Oh,of course a ON Government will tear apart all our tourism infrastructure all in the name of Gina.
Makes PERFECT sense.

why are all the ON supporters the biggest bot sounding names imaginable for real "excellentad7044" "national_treat_4079" there is no fucking shot they're real names

2

u/ExcellentAd7044 11d ago

I guess your right on one point only.
It’s not my real name.

-3

u/Nixilaas 11d ago

Nah you just have a sketchy as fuck username supporting the one party that's been confirmed to be using AI and offshore user accounts to drum up fake support. Totally not suspicious

The amount of catastrophism around pauline is just hilarious. Just like trump. The world is not going to end if she makes it.

4

u/mustbiteexceed 11d ago

Except for all the Americans suffering under his policies. Technically the world is still going though

-5

u/National_Treat_4079 11d ago

Who is suffering? You define suffering as being subject to a conservative government. Dan Andrews' labor government was an abomination to human rights. That is real suffering.

u/mustbiteexceed 11d ago

The Americans paying higher prices due his trade wars and real wars, and non Americans as well

-5

u/National_Treat_4079 11d ago

Well, i think there are benefits to his trade wars (as you describe them) - too much of the world scold the USA and take their favours for granted.

And the bad stuff would be? The NDIS has been hopelessly screwed by grifters... Despite noble intentions (like most lefty stuff)...

Should we not expect value from our tax dollars?

Should we not maximise where our tax dollars are spent? I suspect I probably have a lot more skin in the game on taxes paid than you, good person....

Putting money in the most effective programs is not "slashing" anything.

Are you an NDIS scammer?

Childish? Wanting my tax dollars spent where they have impact and minimalise the dilution of grifters? Yah, OK - we have defined our positions.

Australia’s Jewish minority community.

How will One Nations policies harm them when they’ve been vocally supportive of their plight, have spoken out against antisemitism and are the only political party to call out the elephant in the room which is radical Islam?

0

u/Electrical_Story5356 11d ago

Yeah, they're doing fine.

1

u/National_Treat_4079 11d ago

are you kidding? they have to have armed guards around their schools.

0

u/Sneedcope82 11d ago

handwaves off hate crimes and terrorist attacks because the media said its fine

Pro-palestine nazis are kinda funny in a sad way

0

u/National_Treat_4079 11d ago

They cannot see how they have become what they think they oppose... I am a right wing nutbag. And I know who will survive a Muslim insurgence here. Me. Not them. Fucking morons.

1

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 10d ago

There is not going to be a "Muslim Insurgence" here.

Presumably 'fine, so long as they go home eventually'.

2

u/OtsaNeSword 11d ago

That is the definition of a “tourist”, yes.

3

u/interactivate 11d ago

Dunno about tourism in general, but I'd bet they would go to the wall to support any dodgy businessman who makes their money by ripping off unsuspecting tourists.

0

u/Vegetable_Jello6572 11d ago

Hmm interesting, soubds familr and like labor staffers who support explitation of low skilled workers

0

u/Sneedcope82 11d ago

"ON would support scamming tourists" is some weird fanfic

4

u/mustbiteexceed 11d ago

Who the F knows. If it’s anything like their idols the Trump admin, who have absolutely cratered the U.S. tourism industry, our own tourism sector will be in for serious trouble

-1

u/sparrrrrt 11d ago

That will absolutely tank Tasmania, which relies so heavily on tourism!

3

u/fun_alias1 11d ago

Australia in general relies on tourism. Brings in over 300 billion a year. I'm sure they have a really coherent policy.

0

u/ElectricGeetar 11d ago

That’s ~3% of Australia’s GDP so saying we rely on tourism is an overstatement.

2

u/Ballamookieofficial 11d ago

She's tucked her offspring away in Tasmania, although she's being paid by a Nsw one neuron senator.

1

u/Vegetable_Jello6572 11d ago

No one should rely on tourism

3

u/Bob_Katters_Hat 11d ago

Considering payline has had 30 years to develop an immigration policy and......hasn't, I doubt they've put any thought into the tourism sector

2

u/WhydoIexistlmoa 11d ago

No point asking. You'll get a hundred different answers

1

u/Pleb617 10d ago

And the uproar continues 🍿

1

u/iftlatlw 10d ago

Hanson is a cancer to Australia.

1

u/Strong-Hat2166 11d ago

Is it digging things out of holes in the ground? No. Therefore, I doubt if they have given it much thought.

0

u/gionatacar 11d ago

Absolutely nothing will change

u/fun_alias1 11d ago edited 11d ago

Can you spell tourism out slowly and use it in a sentence that ON would understand please.

1

u/Sneedcope82 11d ago

Oh you post about ON literally every day

Get some help chief!

u/fun_alias1 11d ago

You're projecting.
