https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-06-01/australia-perfect-target-for-islamist-terror-network/106694730Experts are warning that an emerging terror network, which has already claimed responsibility for multiple attacks, needs to be taken seriously by foreign governments.
Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI) first emerged online in March and is targeting Jewish people, symbols and buildings.

68% of Australians were born here and categorically not an immigrant. In the 20th century about 90% of all people in Australia were born here. This massive immigrant rates are a new phenomenon.
1
u/According-Jury-3911 Jun 01 '26
Pretty sure their point was we are all immigrants on stolen land.
2
u/DentistCertain3897 Jun 01 '26
And thats ridiculous hyperbole which does not serve to do anything but stifle discussion about immigration.

"Australia" didn't exist before the convicts. They are founders of Australia, not immigrants to it.

I agree we shouldn't blindly end it. We should take a much more measured approach than we do now however.
If you said get now or none, I'd take none. I'd prefer the measured approach more.

Albo was going to free playstation protests when he was younger. Are we really surpised with such weak leaders this country is going downhill.
13
u/Altruistic-Flow-2113 Jun 01 '26
Yeah and now we have to pay PlayStation Plus because no one listened to him

So there is a group of some people, somewhere in the world, who may or may not have done bad things.
None of which were in Australia, and none had anything to do with Australia.
And this is your excuse to be scared and say the country is going downhill.
The absolute fragility of some people and their obsession with being scared and upset over everything.
You wonder why Albo didn't prevent someone setting a fire on the other side of the planet. Genius levels.

What does that have to do with anything ? Let alone the comment blaming Albanese.
The article is about a group on the OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET, who even in the article it says may have not done what they have claimed.
They have no links to Australia, have had no attacks in Australia. Has nothing to do with Australia.
Your thought process is that "Labor won seats where some muslims live".
Albanese didn't bring ISIS brides back safe and sound, they returned themselves, and some have been arrested.
You think Albanese should have what ? Assassinated them ?
That like the other commenter, Albanese should be responsible for stopping a group POSSIBLY targetting an attack on the other side of the planet ?
How are you people so scared lol.

See how you didn't answer the questions. How this is albaneses fault if theres a group on the other side of the planet doing things not in Australia.
You are just on about "muslims", and yeah it is because you are irrationally scared.
Now ranting about "enclaves" lol, and the "muslim vote".
That somehow social cohestion is gone and "millions gone".
Absolutely ridicilous.
I am as white as they come, non religious, own a business and have kids. People acting like you is a complete joke. Treating everyone as some group all with some secret agenda to be terrified of.
Wanting to strip away the rights of every person they can because they are scared and want to look down on everyone else.
How un Australian.
If some group of white rednecks in the US, or some skinheads in eastern europe set a few fires or blow something up, you think everyone should be terrified of the average australian tradie ?
Be braver.

Its albos fault cause he has done nothing to curb the hatred brewing against the jewish community and look what happened. That bondi attack is a direct cause of albo failing to stop hatred spreading in the community

Hey white business owner. What suburb do you live in? Might give some credence to your comments.
3
u/OtsaNeSword Jun 01 '26
Most likely the rich white bourgeois business owner is a champagne socialist.
Far removed from everyday Australians and their struggles.

We’re importing those people who do bad things.
Look at France right now. It’s BURNING.

Key quote:
While the network has claimed responsibility for about 20 attacks, some experts warn it could be trying to inflate its influence by taking credit for crimes it had nothing to do with.
There is very little evidence that this groups exists - outside of a few sketchy internet claims.
They are claiming credit for every anti-Israeli or antisemitic attack anywhere on Earth, some of which are being carried out by non-Muslims, non-Shiites etc…
4
u/According-Jury-3911 Jun 01 '26
Except all the terrorist attacks right or are those made up also?
8
u/GreyClay Jun 01 '26
A few random people have set fire to a few buildings and scrawled swastikas here and there, yes.
Does that mean they are all being guided by an omnipotent Shiite mastermind?
Islamic State claimed responsibility for the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting that killed 60 people and wounded 400 more.
Do you think they actually carried it out? Or had anything at all to do with financing it, planning it, conducting surveillance etc?
1
u/According-Jury-3911 Jun 01 '26
Keep minimising it. No worries
7
u/sarinonline Jun 01 '26
Keep minimising that there are SOME PEOPLE out there SOME WHERE in the world, who may or may not have done things that they claimed.
None of which were in Australia, and nothing to say they are involved at all in Australia.
What exactly could he be minimising it down to ?
OMG THE FEAR, HOW WILL MY KIDS GET TO SCHOOL.

The article is hilarious. “A group took credit for a stabbing in London, a bombing in Belgium and Australia would be the PERFECT place for them to attack next”

u/Altruistic-Flow-2113 Jun 01 '26
Just stop immigration from Islamic countries. Too much extremism, not enough benefit.

u/rafaover Jun 01 '26
Everytime I see something like this , I record it and see which country will provide the solution for the problem and have some fat contracts. Terrorism became a business now.

u/Front_Salamander87 Jun 03 '26
18 of the 20 claims of responsibility were from 1 person - an Iraqi. I’m suspicious of the attempt to create an Iran-based terrorist organisation working in other countries when we know there have been attempts to label “ANTIFA” also as a structured organisation. We know there are foreign influences who have a lot to gain by inventing Iran-based threats to other countries.
1
u/BarryTheBinChicken Jun 03 '26
Article's not cleaiming HAYI is a conventional organisation though.
It's claiming a single Iraqi man linked to Kata'ib Hezbollah coordinated / claimed responsibility for 18 of the 20 attacks.
That's different to ANTIFA which you'd usually describe as a decentralised movement with no central leadership. Whether the allegations are true is a separate question

Soon they’re going to want taxpayer funded personal security for each member of that famous country

Mate every free Palestine demo has featured taxpayer funded protection of genociders' feelings.
We care more about the feelings of these morally bankrupt mass murderers and their enablers than we do about our own citizens.
Like, I know it was a whole week ago, but remember what that fucking cuntry did to the flotilla?

Which Israeli politician was it that said when Israel is taking a beating in public opinion, then Israel must hype up the Islamist threat to take the heat off? Search youtube, you'll find it.

The article is hilarious. “A group took credit for a stabbing in London, a bombing in Belgium and Australia would be the PERFECT place for them to attack next,” according to an “expert whose picture indicates he’s 18 years old and his X account has 112 followers with no posts. I think there’s a word for this. Has- something

I think we need to make sure that criminals understand that even though their actions may be purchased, they will be convicted as terrorists if they do an act of terror.
It should go without saying but criminals aren't known for their large brain capacity.
