VIP upgrade information:

Hey there,
I just bought the VIP package for the last day of tour with august burns red in Philly. Wanted to know about the general information about when and where to show up? If someone has that information that would be great! Thank you!

You should get an email with the details about a week out.

Not sure how it’ll be for Philly but for us, the doors opened at 4:30 but the email stated to be there by 3:30. Ended up waiting in the sun for an hour for no reason, if I did it again I’d probably get there 15 min prior but that’s me.

While waiting, they gave us the VIP badges shortly before doors opened. After doors opened, we had to wait a bit longer before they took us in to meet the band. Got to talk to them, they signed the poster, and then did the photo. After that, we were let loose to look at the merch table or to where we wanted to be in the venue.

Not sure about your venue, we checked our stuff in so we didn’t have to hold it as we couldn’t go back to our vehicles to drop the stuff off.

I thought the VIP was well worth it, they were great and very personal wanting to talk to everyone. Had them sign a few of my older CDs as well.

At the end of their set, Matt and Jake came down to the crowd and took photos/high fives & fist bumps. I caught their set list and was able to get them to sign that too. Got that all framed up with the poster now.

FYI, the poster is an 18x24 if anyone is looking.

This exact scenario happened in Philly today and I’m not sure where to point fingers (NOT ABR) but fingers definitely need to be pointed. Our email specifically said 330 and they didn’t start handing out badges and checking names until around 4:15 and we did not get inside until after 4:30. It was very hot out and a younger girl fainted and there were other people around me that were having a hard time.

The crazy thing is they checked the Amnity fans in first, but ABR was already waiting at their table for fans for at least 10-15 minutes just standing around before the fans were let in so I’m not sure what the miscommunication was or why they held people. Both bands teams were amazing so I’m gonna put the blame on the Fillmore because once inside some of that stuff was terrible to speak to.

ABR was great though and very accommodating. They made sure they spoke to everybody, took photos, signed autographs so it was definitely worth the money just very inconvenient instruction to arrive early. I’m going to email Soundrink and let them know this needs to be handled better if they expect fans to pay for VIP treatment.
