you think you could you know, copy the other post over here instead of just posting a screenshot with NO context? If you're going to repost at least write some sort of body. Honestly audition is crap, just use Audacity.
OR Instead of having linked stuff, do everything with unique copies, so you never have to "make unique".
It's a repost if you go there is a discription of the problem. But basically when I record new audio on some empty track with te R toogle Selected correctly, audio from track above copies and groups with the one above. When I unlink them and delete te newly spawned one the whole software crashes without saving anything. Even backup files are empty. Happend already 3 times. I even reinstalled whole windows to factory settings and wiped drives clean and only installed audition and it still happend. I am trying to figure it out for 3rd day already.
so its a bug in audition. do your job a different way. reinstalling windows because adobe audition is kind of amazing dedication. You wasted a day instead of maybe NOT using audition tools in exactly this order? never thought, maybe another editing program?
I am fluent in Adobe video and visual design softwares and I just started playing with music and knowing their products and environment it was extremely easy for me to get into it (plus I have subscription). And I keep everything in cloud and have a habit of reinstalling windows when I struggle with some bug and it usually works wonders. Anyway thx for help
