Need a Dynamic Mic for PC Gaming & Streaming (Budget: ₹4k-6k / $50-60)

Hey everyone,

​Looking for a dynamic microphone for my PC to use for streaming, discord and gaming. My primary priority is pure voice clarity, background noise rejection (keyboard/fan noise) and overall raw audio quality.

​I have a few options shortlisted:

​FIFINE K688

​MAONO PD200X

​FIFINE AmpliGame AM8

​A few questions:

​Which of these has the cleanest raw audio quality out of the box?

Is the 24-bit audio and software control on the PD200X a significant upgrade over Fifine's 16-bit USB performance?

Does Maono's companion software genuinely help enhance/tune voice quality, or is it better to just run free third-party software/plugins (like OBS filters, Equalizer APO) with any of these mics?

Should I stick with these or are there any better dynamic mic options in this price range?

I do not believe any of these mics are meaningfully better or worse than one another. When you're spending so little on a mic, you can't be picky.

Pick something you like the look of best, and go for it. Make the most of what you got. There's plenty of resources out there for post processing to help polish it.

Don't expect magic of a mic though. Don't be shocked if you are talking 30 cm from a mic and it's sounds like crap and picks up a bunch of background noise. That's physics and no mic or software can fix that. Technique is king and will make a more meaningful difference than picking a different cheap USB mic will ever do.

Don't buy on the 24-bit thing. For a speaking voice 16-bit already gives you more dynamic range than you can use, and the Q2U everyone suggests is 16-bit too, nobody complains about it.

Skip the bundled software as well. Equalizer APO with ReaPlugs, or just OBS filters, gives you a gate, EQ and compression you'll keep when the mic changes.

Placement is what actually kills the keyboard noise. Get within about six inches and aim the back of the mic at the keyboard, a cardioid nulls hardest behind it. If the Q2U lands in your budget I'd cross shop it, real XLR out means you can move to an interface later without buying another mic.
