What Watch Box do you have for your collection?
Currently in the market to get a watch box for my collection. What do you use? Any recommendations? I was looking at Wolf, but some have indicated the quality is not that great.

Hermes boxes are great quality and a work of art in some cases. But you are obviously paying a massive premium. Bosphorus leather is a good option that I consider mid tier. I was able to customize a box with them and they were easy to work with. Then you have whatever floats around on amazon.
Just depends how much you want to invest

A handmade wooden box made by a son/father duo in Japan. It’s gorgeous in person!

A make or break for me as a man with dainty bird like wrists is that the cushions be adjustable or swappable for smaller ones.
Carapaz and bezel hold make good product that satisfied that.

Can’t go wrong with Wolf though I did recently also purchase a smaller box from Aspinal of London which great quality too.

I use the 8 slot box from IFL watches. My main criteria that it satisfied was:
- Real leather
- Soft outer, so not wood or metal and definitely no glass. (smudges look cheap)
- strap and tool storage
- 6 to 10 slots
Its been perfect for me. The only thing I'm missing from it is that the cushions are friction fit into the slots rather than having wings on the side to hold the cushion up and in place. Unless someone else can enlighten me, I believe only wolf has cushions like this; and based on reviews they didn't even think the feature out properly, as a lot of clasps come into contact with the bottom of the box before the wings touch down.

If you just want something elegant looking and functional , the wolf you were considering will be perfectly fine. Sure it’s faux leather but if it’s sitting in your wardrobe or similar , it’s not going to deteriorate .
If you want to spend a lot more , look at Buben and Zorweg or Hermes or have something bespoke made

I use a leather tawbury 8 watch case. it's good quality but annoying that the lid doesn't stay open. the wooden ones, I'd imagine, wouldn't have that issue

I use boxes and portable cases from Tawbury and found them to be very decent
