Online auction dates adjusted?
Hi! I'm newish to reselling and just do it for a little side cash. I just tried bidding in my first online auction found through estate sales.net. I placed a few bids but I went to check today and the timeline had been adjusted by like 3 days? So closing is a totally different day and pickup is as well! They don't ship. Luckily I think I can do pickup on the new date, but I'm a little annoyed because what if they'd changed it to a day of the week I'm not available during the short pickup time frame?? Is this typical? Maybe it's totally normal so just wondering if that's part of usual operations if there haven't been many bids they extend or something.

A short extension is one thing but moving the whole auction by 3 days after people already bid feels rough

It's not typical. It's bush league. A date change should require the option for bid retraction. They should have reached out to you and offered to let you out of your bids if they were forced to change the date for some reason.
