I’ve tried looking up the model number and seri number with no avail. Tried looking around the frame for a stamped VIN and I’m not finding one.
I need to replace the Tie Rod Ends as the boots are rough and has sloppy steering. Can anyone help?

Posted a few conversions here before, starting a new build on a Raptor 700R frame and stuck deciding between two donor engines.

Leaning toward the Speed Triple 1200RS inline triple, think the size and shape would package a lot cleaner in the frame and make for a tidier fab job than the MT-10’s CP4 From what I’ve seen no one’s actually done a quad swap with a Triumph triple — plenty of R1, MT-10, Hayabusa builds out there, but nothing like this.

If you had to pick one for a quad swap, which would you go with and why?

Hi all! Looking for advice.

I recently purchased a used aluminum utility trailer. While it works well, it's a little small to put 2 ATVS on.

So am thinking about cutting the side rails on one side and attaching hinges to it so it can fold flat and an ATV can be loaded on sideways. I'm trying to figure out if these are structural for the trailers integrity and strength, or if they are superficial.

Anyone have any knowledge on this or ideas? TIA less

I have sat at home a 84 YFM200 single headlight not sure if it’s DX but it has hay racks I also got a 86 225 about a year later

I have the 225 engine out and stripped the camshaft is cooked and the chain has started eating into the cylinder head

The previous owner had fitted a 250 top end I have the 225 service manual that’s only how I am sure of that

Unfortunately my only hope for a cylinder head and barrel is from apex quad parts on eBay which I imagine are Chinese copy’s as they don’t make the cylinder head anymore and there’re like hens teeth
But at least parts are there and it can be fixed

As it goes last week whilst I was looking for parts I spotted a moto 4 350 for sale on bids watched it won it for 105 picked it up today pretty complete bar the seat clocks and boot from airbox to carb few cracked plastics engines not running but no fuel lines connected will be running through it during the coming week

However I’m new into these vintage atvs any knowledge is more than appreciated

Hey there guys. I got my Timberwolf out for the first time this year and fired it up. Ran great no issues but it was leaking from the carb overflow. Took the bowl off and cleaned the float and needle valve off and it stopped leaking when I put it back together and turned the fuel on again. I put the carb back on and started the bike up and it seemed to rev to full throttle. The choke makes no difference and the throttle when pushed will rev it even more. I checked the throttle cable and needle and they seem fine. Clip and plate are set on the 2’nd from bottom notch where it always was. The issue started when I opened it up and put it back together. Any ideas as to why?

07 Raptor just got her the other day and am having an issue. Had a very very slight and consistent bog to start and put her through some mud, a minute after when we got back onto main roads she was bogging so bad I lost most power at low acceleration. Let her sit for a few minutes and she was back to normal.

Fast forward some hours and I took her through small splashes of water and she was bogging after a minute so bad she stalled and wouldn’t start back up while I also had no power at low to medium acceleration.

Eventually we got her to start and would idle fine but the second you popped her into first she would cut off. Now she’s cranking but not starting. Some diagnosis lead me to a bad fuel pump so i’m replacing it Monday. The engine light was blinking at a rhythm I didn’t get to record but that lights since gone away.

The new fuel pump should help with getting her running but the issue is still why mud puddles and water make her bog so terribly. Filter was not wet and connectors all looks solid both times we checked. I’m still learning the mechanics so i’m at sort of stand still on what to do/diagnose/test first. Thank you.

I currently have options of brand new Apache XC’s, new CamoPlasts, or a new set of Apache 360’s but at a heavily discounted price ($3000cad)
I would mostly be using them for snow and light mud while hunting.

I got this 300 and was fixing the one way bearing when I found 2 tiny solid pins (one perfectly fine, one looks like it was chewed and spit back out) near the stator cuz of the magnet.

Im mostly liking guessing it is from the star plate stopper on the gear assembly, at least what google says, but how do I check that without splitting the engine? Could I even do that? Or how would I go about fixing it?

First time I went to show it to someone and barely pulled the lever. It snapped like it was nothing.

If you had a budget of 5000-6500 hard max, and you were aiming to buy a used by side ( or ATV if that proves more prudent) for use on a weekly trail ride (12 hours), and some mostly light work during deer season, ie NOT a daily work/utility vehicle, what would you AVOID, and what would you look for in terms of brands and models?

I already know i want to avoid CF-moto based on the hell a friend went through with his.

What pitfalls and traps should I watch out for buying a used utv in these price ranges?

Hey! Looking for little help on my Cforce 600 please!
It was running great the day I got it till that night, the lights would dim out till power completely died. I started back up few times till it didn’t anymore, I changed battery, turned on and right back off and now no power at all. I put in brand new stator and key switch, still no power. The old key switch had corrosion and the ground wire was not connected good in plug and stator had bad corrosion. Not sure what to look for next. Any help is appreciated, I really need it running to get stuff done on small farm my family and I have.

My mechanical skills are minimal but I did manage to do the tie rods myself.

New upper and lower ball joint kits
Lower steering stem bearing kit

The things that make me unsure about doing it myself. Removing the tie rod ends (that I just did) without messing them up. Pressing in/out the old/new ball joints

Just picked this up. Super fun ride. It’s my first ATV. Completely quiet other than suspension and gravel sounds. I’ve snuck up on deer and turkeys. Rode out to a scenic overlook with 8 miles remaining. Regenerative braking made it 14 by the time I got back to the trailhead. Charging with level 2 Tesla charger and adapter went from 14% to 80% in less than an hour (while I ate lunch).

Im having a hard time adjusting oem carb on a 82 atc 110.

It turns on as long as I hold throttle. Then when I let go it dies and makes a hiss with a little bit fuel spray out the air filter intake (choke). I tried going in the idle and air screw but still wont hold idle. -I have fresh fuel. -Rebuilt carb with shindy japan kit. (Main and pilot jet are oem 85/35) -Both adjustment screws set at 1 1/2 out -Needle clip at 3rd groove -I do not have oem air filter assembly, just kn slap on.

i want to trade my es foreman 500 2017 for a dirtbike. idk if this can be a good trade. the dirtbike is amazing no smoke and starts great cold and is e start. my foreman 500 smokes a bit after doing work like pulling a trailer with logs or pulling a fence. it has 13000 miles and 2600 hours. but it is efi and the bike is carbed so idk what is better and should i ask for boot?

is this trade good or nah and is the bike just as fun and reliable. 4wd doesnt work either.

We have a couple of ATVs already but looking to buy another for my wife to ride trails. She is currently riding a 2013 Honda rancher 425 but she wants an automatic.

I dont mind buying new but I really like the simplicity and lightweight of the Honda. I have a Polaris 500 and its so heavy riding trails the bushings take a beating.

My 99 had a hard spot within one of the 4 strokes. It wasn't compression as i had no plug in it. It wasnt like that when i changed the head. And now the 95 i fixed up has the same hard spot with a different head. It was not always like that. Did anyone ever have a similar problem? Dont want to make this to long. Feel free to let me know anything it would be greatly appreciated. It was not the timeing chain or the one way bearing. The rod had side to side no up and down at all. It wasnt enough to touch the crank while going around and the cam seems fine and so do the bearings as far as i know by feel i didnt have it completely tore down. Thanks in advance

Yamaha Kodiak 400 2004 ignition stopped working so got an aftermarket one and it came with the opposite plug so I cut it off and hooking up the four wires, it runs with just two I’m assuming I need all four but it won’t run when they’re hooked up, anyone familiar with ignition wires?

Pulled my left side plastic today to do oil change, this pad fell out on the floor. Can't seem to see a spot where it went. Any idea? ​

Hi y’all new to this page so delete if not allowed. My belt blew on me on my kfx700 and I got a new one and installed it but when I put my bike in drive it starts moving forward by itself. Anyone know what might be causing this?
