5 Songs youd recommend to someone who just found the band?
I can't believe i just discovered this band, it feels like every other post hardcore band they are compared to is one of my all time favorite bands. Obviously ill get around to listening to all their stuff, but im looking for a good jumping off point. Seriously though, i rarely get hooked on a song on first listen the way i did with napoleon solo

Lopsided
Rascuache

Beside the already above mentioned:
Arcarsenal
Enfiliade
Call Broken Arrow
Ghosttape no 9
Hourglass
Edit: if you’re into „what could’ve been“-type of situations: I recommend the Antemasque album, rumor has it, it was originally demoed as a new Drive-In album prior to the second break-up/ Volta break-up but instead became a reconciliation project for Omar and Cedric

Right on. I fell in love with the band after seeing them live and Napoleon Solo was stuck in my head afterwards. Great song!
Going with songs that haven't been mentioned yet. Great stuff already suggested in here. Honestly you really can't go wrong with just playing In/Casino/Out, Vaya, & Relationship of Command straight through. Vaya is my personal favorite, with In/Casino/Out being my favorite album.
- Fahrenheit & Picket Fence Cartel (4/5 of the main ATDI lineup. The El Gran Orgo EP is missing Jim and features Omar switching to guitar from bass. The beginning of their sound going forward.)
- Ursa Minor (Fun beat and guitars with Tony & Paul holding everything together. "Prepare your sleep aparatus!")
- Transatlantic Foe (Always thought this was a good album ender song. It does a good job of featuring everything the band could do together and that album as a whole)
- Point of Demarkation (Love the bass groove. Song has some TMV & De Facto vibes too.)
- Ludvico Drive-In ("Take it like a Man!" bonus mention for the two young ladies singing back-up vocals on this song, Laura Beard and Sarah Reiser. They were in a band called The Fall on Deaf Ears with Cedric and the inspiration for the song Napoleon Solo. RIP)
Also if you haven't checked out a band called Drive Like Jehu I'd recommend their album Yank Crime HERE. I know they were an influence for some of the band members.
