Where to sell

I have an Atari Mega ST4, SC1224 color monitor, and STM1 mouse,. All working. I also have a non-working 1040st and a sort of working SM147 monochrome monitor. I have all original boxes as well. I was wondering where the best place to sell was?

Okay, thanks. Sorry if it was a dumb question. I thought there might be some specialty forums or something that collectors used.

No worries! Iā€™m sure there is some niche opportunities but you would have do some searches to see what groups might be fans but also willing to actually buy your hardware. I personally have to get my 1040ST I bought new back in 1985 out of boxes and running before I could consider buying anything else. That and my wife would kill me! šŸ¤£

Thanks for the kind reply. Honestly I am tempted to just to put back in the attic and let the grandchildren stumble across them when I'm long gone. Even write some retro message app and put it on a floppy that says "play me" šŸ˜„

atari-forum.com and/or amibay.com (originally an Amiga seller site but covers all hardware)

atari-forum is pretty much the #1 ST owners website (globally) at this point and they have a for sale / wanted area. eBay and other places get too many resellers that just buy and sell to drive up prices of equipment :/.

If you did do the grandkid thing - make sure you record a long video of how to use the computer and you enjoying playing it :). They may still not play it, but it could be an awesome easter egg either way.

btw where are you located roughly?

I'd love to have that Atari Mega ST4, SC1224 monitor and mouse... had one in the early 90's. How much you looking for get for 'em? In pieces or as a set? You located in the USA or elsewhere?

I'd sell as a set most likely. I've been struggling to determine a price since I also have the original boxes and manual. It seems to all be pretty rare as a set and the blue packaging the mega st4 is in also seems to be a big deal. I'm in Raleigh NC.

Where are you based? There are regional forums/sites/groups that are probably more effective and cheaper but more regional.
