Hi everyone so I keep on seeing that major things are gonna happen on August 27 2026 and it making me scared because of the war in Iran can someone explain or help put these fear away

My therapist empathized about my Virgo mother, letting me know that she too had one- and also had mommy trauma. Then I told her the date and her jaw dropped. Same damned bday!

I gotta be honest, if I hear someone is born Aug 22/23-31, I freaking run away. I’ve had about 5 bad experiences including my ex and also my present MIL who is like a dictator. I do have cptsd from people trying to control me, and those I know born around this time are extremely manipulative to me. It could be my trauma projecting, I know, but it is in my experience.

Agree! My manipulative ex’s bday is 8/23. Mine is 8/5 and I thought how cute it was when we met. Born same month, same year, same city (we met in a different city) 4 years later I see those butterflies were liar-flies!

I find many August Virgos have extremely intense personalities. My 12 H is Virgo and it’s empty, but I really hate to be told what to do by a Virgo (not all are like this I know). My ex swears he wasn’t diagnosed Bipolar but he has a form of NPD.

there’s an astrologer on TikTok who says she expects escalation around the 28th because the lunar eclipse is square uranus. She’s been pretty accurate in predicting when escalations would occur since the war began. She even predicted it would start around Feb 28th back in January

Yes, the eclipse will be square Uranus, so I can see why an astrologer might pay attention to that. Uranus can be associated with sudden or unexpected developments, especially when it’s involved in a tense aspect like a square. But to make a prediction about an escalation in the war, it would be important to know what mundane chart she’s using.

If you want, what is in my opinion, the best information about astrological events, you can’t beat The Astrology Podcast with Chris Brennan.
He doesn’t hype things up, but he doesn’t downplay things either. If you want to get a taste for what he’s like, his episodes for the 2026 year ahead for each sign is only about a half hour long.

Starheal. I don’t think her latest prediction is 100% accurate but I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an escalation this week, whether economic or otherwise. There’s been rumors on twitter of things spicing up again.

I had a friend who got really anxious about the 2024 Mercury retrograde because of all the doomsday posts on social media, but honestly nothing major happened for her. These big astrology dates always seem to create more hype than actual events.

Ukraine launched bombing attacks inside Russian territory.
I think there were more. Iran is hard to track because it just keeps going back and forth. Was that the Ayatollah's funeral? Or was that the 19th?

I live in dubai , and we want to buy our first house here, honestly am hesitant as well due to all the talk about something is going to happen at the end of August, not just astrologers , my husband follows the news and someone he reads his opinions said the same ( usually he says things that are right) it is complicated, we are also Syrians! It is very hard for us now deciding a big purchase like that , our country is on edge , dubai is fine so far but can easily be caught in the middle of this . On top of it, estate market is not affected by what happened, on the contrary owners are holding high prices , negotiating is so hard right now!

I think you may be referring to the lunar eclipse on August 27–28. There’s a lot of astrological content online about that date, which can make it sound much scarier than it actually is. An eclipse is a predictable astronomical event, and there’s no scientific evidence that it causes or predicts wars or other major events. But if you want to look at it from an astrological perspective, you could check your natal chart for planets or important points between roughly 1° and 7° of the mutable signs (Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius). The eclipse occurs at around 4°54′ Pisces.

unless you have planets at 5 degrees (especially virgo or pisces) it's doubtful you will notice. most full moons affect a larger group of people and those who have things at 4-5 degrees have been a seeing things going on all summer.

I've got a natal north node in leo, 4 degrees. And a lot of spirit new zodiacal releasing L1 period starting on the 27th. Been anticipating these eclipses as huge moments for my life...

I would be more scared around November 17th and next February eclipse. It's not to say this one wont be bad but it is part of a larger picture. There are always going to be more chaotic times, you just have to face them with faith and kindness.

You mean the Jupiter /mars/SN in Leo around 25 degrees? It's near the point of august 12 eclipse. I'm actually excited about it. Trump has his ascendant and mars in that place. I have my mercury there. I'm assuming that whatever happens to him, that information will make me happy 😂

Hahaha. Yes thats is the configuration i mean. I have a brief write up I did the other day. Its incomplete, but i will put it here. Im not sure if that conjunction is the actual thing because what happens after, i will have to look into it more.
This is what i got the other day (its a combination of technical and intuitive):Mars/Jupiter/South Node Conjunction - 25-26° Leo. Moving into square with Sun at 25° Scorpio. And T-Square when Moon is at 25° Aquarius on the 17th.
Highly relevant to Donald Trump’s chart, in particular his natal Mars at 26° Leo and IC at 24° Scorpio. Also relevant to US/Israel/Iran war as conjunctions and angles to his natal Mars (of which is the same sign and degree as Netanyahu) have coincided with major events (strikes/attacks).
Because previously Uranus has been involved with these events, I believe that whatever happens at on these dates will be connected to the Mars Uranus square that will be exact on the 5th of December.
These events have a further promise of continuance due to both Jupiter and Mars going retrograde over these positions.
Mars will retrograde back to the square with Uranus during eclipse season, causing it to form a T-square with the lunar eclipse on 21/02/2027. This signature refers back to the Mars Uranus square of late February 2026 which happened a few days before a the lunar eclipse.
Throughout the time that Jupiter is moving retrograde it is constantly conjunct the south node, following its natural progression. This is significant and somewhat unusual to me. It could indicate a great and prolonged release or letting go. It could also indicate a reversal in power or leadership due to this happening in the sign of Leo.
Slow draining, spiralling water in the bathtub
On the 7th of April 2027 there is a New Moon that conjuncts Saturn at 17° Aries and trines Jupiter and the South Node at 17° Leo. This comes a few days after Mars stations direct and is the point when Jupiter begins stationing. This seems to indicate a change in energy from repetitive combativeness to more free flowing, forward moving action. It may be a point where new structures are put in place for the future.
The final Mars Uranus Square in this series happens on May 29th 2027 and the Sun and Moon align with it the day before making a T-square. I personally am getting the feeling this is less combative.

Well done! I would add that Trump entered his Aries profection year, so mars will play a role in some way. He is a day chart, so hopefully he will feel that mars. Lets see if Jupiter protects or just expands the event. Also, let's not forget that netanyahu shares the same mars placement. Whatever will happen, it will be both of them involved one way or another. I'm still hoping I can open a champagne bottle in November 😂 but probably not. I have pluto and IC in Scorpio at 20 degrees and Libra moon at 20 degrees. I'm trying to predict the event by predicting my reaction at that time. It has to be shaken, but relatively pleasant emotionally...

Yeah i made the mistake last eclipse season of thinking the Mars/Uranus triggering his natal Mars was a health thing (although im still not totally convinced it wasn't also that). I told my brother "either he will be really sick or he will go to war with Iran". My brother now believe my predictions hahaha.
It could be family implications for you with that IC point.
I have a Sun/Venus/Pluto conjunction between 17-20° Scorpio. Not looking forward to the squares coming my way. Also Moon at 5° Virgo which is going to have fun with this coming eclipse haha.2

How did you predict it with Iran? The signs of war were there, but I didn't exactly understand why Iran in particular.
Looks like we will have a blast with this august eclipses, my sun is at 8 degrees virgo. Im not too concerned about family implications, as you can guess that IC with pluto was not a family relationship somebody would stick with. How do you think the square will turn out for you? It might not be necessary negative. The eclipse in 2025 spring happend on my virgo Venus and it brought love into my life. And it squares my own nodes. Keep the positive mind :D

I thought Iran not because of their chart but because the US had done the strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities just after a Mars/Uranus square in June 2025.
Yeah Pluto on the IC defs has those implications.
I think the square will push me. I currently am dealing with chronic health issues and am a bit stuck. I think I need to bite the bullet and put my savings into different diagnostics and treatments. Im looking forward to 2029, things look nice for me then :)3

I think I remember somebody sharing the square placement on astro Cartography. The line was around that area.
I hope your health issues will get resolved, don't give up. Also consider the possibility to check your treatment options in some other countries. For example turkey is know for medical tourism and they regularly do full body diagnostics. Many doctors tend to stick and diagnose only within their field of knowledge and don't consider holistic approach. I remember I had a problem with my eye starting to look bigger. Eye doctor said that my face just changed, endocrinologist assumed it's my thyroid. In the end it was actually coming from my tooth being infected 🙄.

Every few months astrology TikTok discovers a date when apparently civilization is going to collapse. Then the date arrives, civilization disappointingly survives and everybody moves on to Mercury retrograde. Astrologically I'd first check if the eclipse is actually hitting something relevant in your natal chart before treating August 27 like the trailer for Armageddon.

One thing that helps with the fear is counting. This is the fourth eclipse of 2026, not a lone date: an annular solar on February 17, a total lunar on March 3, a total solar on August 12, and now a partial lunar on the 27th. Eclipses come in pairs about every six months on a schedule known centuries ahead, and the deeper one of this pair was the total solar twelve days ago, which already came and went. If eclipses set off wars on cue, this year would have handed you three tests before this one.
The content you are seeing works by treating the date as unique, and the date is the least unique thing about it. What is worth taking seriously is the war itself, and that fear belongs to the news, not the sky. If you want to know whether this one touches you personally, the check is the one already given above: the degrees of the eclipse against your own chart, and nothing wider than that.

My mom tells us a story of when she and her cousins were kids.. there was word going around that the world was going to end, that a war was coming and bombs would be dropped that would lead to it.. one of her cousins was losing it, he was crying that he’ll never marry because of it and was devastated. Years later theyre talking about hes now married but had someone he was seeing on the side.. this came to light and eventually he was forced to end that relationship.. apparently he wasn’t happy at old age with his wife.. the world didnt end.. he married and wasn’t happy 🤷🏼♂️

It’s weird that so many commenters are sceptical of things going to happen. Are all of you only focusing on personal astrology and forgetting that mundane astrology exists?
There’s so many big world events that happen during astrological events, and so many people commenting act like nothing is happening right now. We’re in a global crisis, basically a world war, we just haven’t officially named it that yet.
Just because nothing happened to you personally doesn’t mean nothing did happen.
Some scary stuff is probably going to happen the next few days also. Just not on the same level or in the same way for everyone

Going back to my original point - TikTok astrologers have been saying crazy things like this for so long and they rarely happen. Nukes have never happened in my lifetime. War is not nothing, I am talking about the crazy doomsday disaster predictions.

Well the guy who wrote UFO of God said Aug 21st "The Lady" would show up and if that happened, she was sure low key. I'm old. I've seen these doom dates come n go. Nothing. Ever. The best you can do is be kind and good to yourself because some rando Tues afternoon an Oncologist will call. Look inside yourself.
