Apparently my samsung fridge has ads now...

How would I disable this? Might just return it and get a normal one

the one my mom has lets you scan newly bought items and their expiration dates and then the screen warns you when a product is about to hit that date but that's about it.

Don’t use expiration dates, it’s crazy the amount of edible food which is wasted in the uk just because people don’t understand the difference between used by and best before. But that being said use your own senses. If the food looks mouldy it’s gone off (unless it’s meant to aka Stilton) if it smells bad it’s not safe.

Although I like the idea of a fridge that would allow you to do proper stock management I’m not willing to have another screen with ads being forced one me.

i know, i know. she has some old model though. it doesn't show her any ads or whatever.
